This quiet charming 1,000 SF cottage is a perfect space to unwind. With its west facing relaxing open breezeway to sit with a glass of wine and watch the sun set. A 10 minute drive to historic Columbia, home of our 11th President James K Polk. 5 minute drive to Spring Hill. Home of the world famous MuleTown Celebration. Old town charm off the Public Square. Just a 30 minute country drive to historic Leapers Fork to visit antique markets and old world diner. Come relax and sit a spell.

The space
Beautiful Downtown Columbia with its Southern Charm .
Friendly, welcoming shop keepers and merchants always receive guests with a smile and warm hello. A trip to Downtown will reward you with a nice walk around the Public Square to enjoy the many very personal inviting shops.

There is canoe rental near by if you would like to see the Duck River. River Rats Canoe Rental just 12 miles away.
The River Walk Park is just off the beautiful Town Square of Columbia.
The Henry Horton State Park just 20 miles in Chapel Hill TN. to include a golf course. Also the TOWHEE GOLF CLUB just 2.4 miles close
If you are traveling with horses or mules. We have parking for your trailers and a pasture near by for your critters.

Seriously, a vacation for us is to relax, this was so layed back, screen porch for bugs, back deck for sitting, grill for cooking, a little old but still worked! Absolutely love that Darrel met us here when we arrived, the we know who we are talking to and they know who is renting the property. Would stay again!

Staying at the cottage was amazing! The cottage is very charming and homey. Communication with Darrell and Bev was easy and they were flexible with us. Highly recommend staying here!

The location was excellent very close to both Columbia and Spring hill. The cottage was cozy, the owner very friendly and attentive, and evenything we needed was handy.

I couldn’t have imagined more perfect stay.Daryll is a top-tier host. He met me at the property, had wonderful suggestions for restaurants and things in the area, shared some very interesting history of the area, and was just incredibly accommodating.The house was exactly as described. It was very comfortable and homey. The kitchen was fully stocked. There were plenty of towels, etc. the place was freaking spotless! The living room had an incredibly comfortable sofa and oversized chair and ottoman. The beds were very comfortable (something you don’t get to say that often when staying in other places). Linens were great. I particularly enjoyed the screened in front porch. I’m from Washington and I don’t get to see fireflies that often. It was lovely.I will definitely be back!

Great place!

Very happy with my stay. The owner gave us a tour on arrival and was very friendly and helpful. The house is very warm and relaxing. I would definitely recommend!

Host was great, he met us at the home, gave us a tour and info. Provided directions to Venue, eateries. Etc. this was a short visit, but would stay again. Enjoyed hot coffee on a cool morning on screened porch. Thanks!

Home away from home

It was a very enjoyable place to stay. Close to most anything you’d want to do. The thing I enjoyed the most was that the house stayed clean the whole time and the absolute peace n quiet!

Peaceful place with awesome hosts. Darrell went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for a quiet little weekend getaway. The house was comfortable and inviting the moment we walked in. Highly recommended!!

Perfect for our family

We had to visit our family in Franklin for a medical check up and this was just perfect for us. Super close to everything and perfectly between Spring Hill and Columbia. The host was super responsive and clearly takes a lot of pride in ownership. Thanks again for hosting our small family. We will be back soon.

Home away from home

The location is great. Private but not far from restaurants and/or shopping. Very close to the venue we used for my nephew’s wedding. Clean, comfortable with all the necessities and even a few extras. Beautiful flowers!! Host was very nice with great communication. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a that “home away from home” feeling.
