Unfortunately, from time to time, a guest will leave a retaliatory review after being reminded of house rules. We encourage future guests to read all reviews and compare this review with the others left by guests who have stayed in this apartment. This apartment was recently renovated, and the overwhelming majority of guests have had very positive experiences. During this stay, there were multiple violations of clearly stated house rules, including issues involving noise, partyiny, guest conduct, unauthorized visitors, and repeated failures to communicate despite numerous attempts to reach the guest. One example involved complaints from building administration regarding the guest walking through common areas in only his underwear. After multiple messages went unanswered, we were forced to knock on the apartment door to address the issue directly. Similar communication difficulties arose throughout the stay whenever house rules needed to be discussed. Despite these challenges, we went out of our way to assist the guest and his brother. When his brother arrived late at night without local currency, we personally helped him obtain food and covered the cost after being assured that the money would be repaid before departure. It never was. Nevertheless, we continued to treat both guests courteously and professionally throughout their stay. Given the circumstances, we believe this review was motivated by resentment over the enforcement of house rules rather than an accurate representation of the apartment, its condition, or the hospitality we provided. Future guests are encouraged to consider the property's history of positive reviews when evaluating this isolated review.
