We are excited to share our family lake home with you!

This exceptional 4,000+ square foot custom log home is nestled on 4.2 wooded acres and 290 feet of lake frontage on beautiful Upper Turtle Lake! Water views from almost every window as well as the oversized wrap around deck.

We are located on a long shared private driveway with only one other home close by - you will love the privacy and quiet that the Lookout offers! You will see deer and turkey out of windows and enjoy watching the eagles fly by. Go for a walk in the woods, play in the lawn, or just enjoy a cup of coffee on the deck!

Our home has four fire pits available for use to have an evening campfire or roasting s'mores. In the summer, enjoy using our two kayaks or stand up paddle boards. Take our lily pad out in the water for swimming or throw a fishing line off the dock.

Inside we have 2 gas fireplaces (one in the master bedroom) and one wood fireplace. Our main floor family room is perfect for hanging out and relaxing. We have a fully stocked kitchen and a large dining room table that seats 8.

Downstairs we have a large game table for puzzles or games, next to a gas fireplace and a cozy space to watch your favorite movie or sports game. DVDs and and streaming services are available.

We have a foosball table and a full size, 4 player arcade in our downstairs game room as well as board games, cards, and puzzles! A dart board is also available for use.

Our home is very family friendly and we welcome families! We have a pack n play, high chair, and baby monitor at our home for you to use. Toys and books are in the bunk room, and we have a variety of DVDs your kids will enjoy! You will find kid friendly plates, bowls, and utensils in the kitchen.

IMPORTANT:
There are a substantial number of steps going down to the lake.
Four wheel drive is recommended in the winter to access our home. During the summer water conditions are subject to change.
No smoking. No parties. No fireworks.

We had a wonderful week here. Very quiet lake and lots of wildlife. The beds arevery comfortable and blackout curtains in the bedrooms was nice. Very cozy home and kid friendly. The updated boat dock was a plus to us. Our 19ft boat fit very well.Kitchen is well stocked; we loved using the flip waffle iron! Thank you, Jen, for sharingyour home with us. You are a great host!

Everything was perfect. Communication with the host was perfect. A large tree fell down and blocked the road out on a Friday night and they had it removed within a couple hours. Amazing views, loved the kitchen and grill

Great spot

Very beautiful home that’s perfect for a large group. Only drawback is there are a lot of stairs.

Great cabin

We had a group of 7 all stay at this cabin for 3 nights and we all had a great time. The cabin was spacious and clean. It was in a great location and easy to find. Breathtaking views of the lake from the huge deck. Cabin was set up with everything needed for a fun, relaxing weekend.

Fantastic property

Rented this property for a group stay. We also rented a pontoon which the property owners helped us find. The house was clean and stocked appropriately. We lost power and water at one point due to a storm and the owners were quick to help us remedy the situation. Would stay at again.

Beautiful, Comfortable Stay!

Pictures can't do this place justice. The cabin itself is gorgeous, comfortable, and the hosts have it well stocked to anticipate guest needs. The view from the deck is stunning- we spent a lot of time watching the bald eagles come and go. The lot itself is private, and while getting down to the lake is quite a bit of stairs, the dock and access to the paddle boards and kayak make it worth the while. The hosts were responsive and friendly. Would absolutely recommend!

Winter break

We had an amazing time at the lookout. This cabin far exceeded our expectations. Everything was thought of, the cabin is beautifully decorated. The hosts were amazing! We made memories with our kids that will last a lifetime. We hooe to make this trip a new yearly family tradition.

Gorgeous place

We had a wonderful experience at this beautiful property. The home is absolutely wonderful and exceeds the description. The design of the house is stylish and also very spacious. One day some Of our family came out for a gathering — we had a good number of people but it felt all day that there was generous space for everyone. The setting up in the trees is special — a gorgeous view which we enjoyed so much on the wrap around deck. It’s very peaceful so if you are wanting quiet, this is a great choice. The house is well equipped with many amenities and if you’re coming with kids, the hosts have provided all kinds of things for any needed rainy day diversions— a mini arcade, foosball, lots of games and other fun things. It’s a really quick trip into town if there are any grocery needs that come up suddenly and the local grocery store was surprisingly well stocked. The hosts could.not have been warmer or more responsive. I heard back from them quickly with every one of my questions. Very special thanks to the hosts for creating this lovely environment and for sharing this with others. We loved it.
