Conveniently located in the heart of Kill Devils Hills, steps from Bay Drive(the most amazing sunsets on the Outer Banks) and the Kitty Hawk Bay. The home and guest suit was built in 2021. It's a perfect getaway for a couple to enjoy the relaxing beaches of the Outer Banks. Extra amenities include beach chairs, soft top surf boards, cooler, beach towels, under house parking and grill, fenced back yard for the pets.
Guests with pets will enjoy the private fenced backyard that connects to the covered patio. Proximity to Bay Drive path, where they can enjoy water views while walking their pets. Under carport parking for those hot summer days. Owner lives in second floor of the house . Guest apartment is located on first floor.

Wedding weekend

Really nice place, our only complaint is the noise volume from the owner and family upstairs. Location is not the best for beach goers

Get away

Disappointed that the beach right there is no longer dog friendly and had to go 20 minutes to next town for a dog friendly beach Also the owner who lives upstairs has a dog who is super friendly but comes downstairs to where you are renting and if you have a dog like ours who does not like other dogs that close caused somewhat of a problem we had to constantly be on watch for the dog and could not really enjoy the outside area . If your dog loves dog there would not be a issue The owner and dog were very friendly

Disappointed

The apartment was clean and cute. We felt mislead and decided to lose out on money rather than staying. You could hear every step and most conversations of the home owners. Did not feel private at all. Feels like you are staying with the homeowner.

The property was exactly as advertised. Very comfortable and was perfect for my wife and I and our border collie. Highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be back.

Sweet little place

The place was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Great communication with owner. It is under the owners living space so when they are there you do hear them but no worse than apartment living sounds. My only suggestion is to have a bath mat and/or grab bar for shower for safety reasons. But definitely would recommend this place. Very centrally located and easy to go anywhere from here.

Couple and pet retreat

It was a lovely apartment below a beach home. There was a fenced backyard for our small dogs. We were there on a cold fall weekend, but would have loved to be able to sit on the patio on a nice evening.

Will definitely be back!

I really enjoyed staying at Inna’s place with my two dogs. My dogs loved having a backyard (with a very easy access - no steps to navigate or anything, just open the door and you are in the backyard) and the doggie toys! The place is very clean, cozy, feels brand new. Easy to find, close to the beach, a very pleasant host - what else does one need? Loved everything about our stay!

Nice and clean room, easy access, nice fenced backyard for dogs, close to sidewalk to walk dogs. Great local restaurants for seafood. Less than 5 minutes to beach. Great location. Would return again.

Great for Couples!

The space was perfect for me and my husband (plus our dog). The sound is so close and it was great to catch the sunsets there. Plus, the yard is super convenient with a pet! Quiet neighborhood.

Great spot

This place was great for me, my husband and large dog . It was enough room for us to sleep and hangout . The outside was the best part ! Had a large back yard for our dog and a large space with awning with chairs and lights to hang out . Bay was a minute walk away with a nice trail along it . Inna was very welcoming .

Perfect place!

Very easy check-in. Perfect place for my husband and I also our dog. It got a little hot in the room but other than that we had a wonderful time. You have the perfect little place.

we came to the Outer Banks to celebrate my partner’s birthday. The apartment was wonderful easy access to the beach enjoyed access to the basketball hoop, and bikes.

Short getaway

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this place. The owner was very nice and the place was amazing. We would definitely recommend staying there. Our fur child was also present. Comfy stopover in the OBX

Ideal! We wanted a place for just a few days for the two of us and our dog. It's a residential neighborhood, quiet street, nice walks, easy drive (traffic permitting) to dog-friendly beaches, parks, restaurants, etc. The bed, shower, etc., were clean, comfortable, and appealing. The microwave and fridge were all we needed.

Easy check-in process, property was clean (it's a newer property), and even accommodating for our dog (back yard with fence). True that owner lives upstairs but we were out a lot and it didn't bother us. Great place to stay.

Would stay here again!

The place was so cute! Very clean and updated. Just what we needed after beach camping for 4 nights. The owner let us have early check in at noon which was AMAZING because we couldn’t wait to have a proper shower.

Lovely ground-level Vrbo

My wife and I recently stayed here for a few nights at the beach with our dog. It is very clean, equipped, and well maintained. It is a great space for dog owners as there is a 3/4 fenced-in yard with a collapsible gate provided by owner. It is very centrally located for beach access and bay access for great walks with the dog. Adjoining covered patio has a hammock and chairs to enjoy outside time. The only downsides to the rental are mosquitoes and a couple other things. We felt like we were constantly swatting at and finding mosquitos inside our room. The owner is cohabitating there with her young child so there is noise. If you are looking for a silent getaway, this would not not be the quietest choice. It would be nice if there were more hooks in room and bathroom (to hang a second towel in bathroom and somewhere to hang purse, keys, etc). All in all, this was a pleasant stay and will consider booking again in the future.

Wonderful stay!

We enjoyed our long weekend stay here so much! We are planning on coming back!!! Inns was so welcoming and friendly. She is a great host. She made sure we had everything we needed and answered messages quickly. She was respectable about our privacy and space since she does reside on the upper level. We enjoy interacting with our hosts when they are on site and she is great company. However, was very respectable in the fact if you don’t like that she will give you your privacy. The space was exactly as pictured. Very clean. Cozy but has everything you need. We enjoyed the outdoor area so much. We brought our dog with us and the gate she provides to block off the front patio was perfect!! We 10/10 recommend anyone to stay here!!

Relaxing Couple Getaway (with our dog)

We had a great stay. The unit is clean and really nicely decorated. It’s a smaller, studio space but we spent a lot of time in the covered outdoor area and backyard (which was great for our dog) so didn’t feel cramped. The neighborhood is quiet and the walking path along the bay is beautiful. Centrally located to beaches and restaurants!
