Bring your boat and water toys to use the private boat dock and lift, Sea Doo / Kayak launch and Four Kayaks with year-round water. A boat ramp is at Moon's Landing just10 min away, use the ramp on the left as it is free. Take a boat ride to Break on the Lake or Harris Landing to enjoy a meal. Need a boat Skippers on Lake Greenwood has rentals for your enjoyment.
Relax in the screened-in porch or around the fire pit with Adirondack chairs right by the water. Spend your time fishing with poles provided.
Explore the lake with 3 fishing kayaks to use with life vests. Check out Hidden Lake, just a cove away.
Take an early morning walk in the peaceful neighborhood located on a quiet cul-de-sac. Enjoy the Sunset views from the screened-in porch and on the viewing deck. Use the Charcoal BBQ for a night in or visit the local restaurants that are less than 15min away.

Peaceful and relaxing

Thanksgiving with family in Greenwood was the occasion and this was the perfect home to come back to after visiting. Fully stocked kitchen, plenty of games, dvd’s and books. The view of the lake and sitting outdoors ( since the weather was perfect ) was ideal. All family members were happy.

An unforgettable view

Cute little place with comfy furniture and an amazing outdoor space. The views are stunning. The host was incredibly responsive. We fished off the dock, caught bass, blue gill and catfish, and just enjoyed the amazing weather and peaceful setting. We really had a great time, so relaxing!

Relaxing Vacation Getaway

We truly enjoyed staying at this Lake House. We had been staying at a Lake House at Lake Hartwell and Decided to Give Lake Greenwood a Shot......we were Not Disappointed. Catherine was very responsive and easy to work with. The House Has Everything You Need. We Never Left the House other Than Boat Rides. The Sun Deck Was an Added Bonus. Both Docks were Great. We did a Lot of Fishing off the Big Dock and Caught Alot of Catfish. The Neighbor LeeAnn was so Nice and Welcoming. We Will Visit Again For Sure. If I had to list a suggestion it would be to Get a Different Bed Frame for the King Bed. The Footboard is Challenging for Taller People, other than that the House was Amazing and Had Great Views. Kitchen was Fully Stocked and the Guest Book was a Nice Touch. Thank you again for sharing your Lake House with us. Catherine was

Lake Life Awaits

Cathy's property is exactly as advertised and if you are looking to relax and enjoy some time on beautiful Lake Greenwood then this property is for you. We caught fish right off the dock every day, took the kayaks out for a spin morning and afternoon, whiled away the day floating and swimming next to the dock, enjoyed family dinners together, and ended our days watching sunsets. What more could you ask for? Besides all this, I was impressed by Cathy's thoughtfulness - not only did she regularly communicate with us prior to and during the trip, but the property was so well stocked with everything we needed - it's as if Cathy anticipated all our needs - from the well stocked kitchen, to the Weber grill, to the 4 kayaks, the fishing gear, and the MANY family games, it was all there for us and that added to our experience. I would recommend this property and owner to anyone on VRBO. Thanks!

The best week at the lake

This house was perfect for our family vacation! The lake views were unbeatable & the home provided many comfy areas to take them in! The owner was super responsive & the house was well stocked with games & even beach towels. The dock made for easy boating & fishing & there was a swimming area that was perfect for the kids. Such a great stay!!

wedding for our son

it was perfect to sit on the porch and drink coffee first thing each morning. We had a hectic weekend with all that was going on with the wedding. We wished we could have stayed and enjoyed it longer but I would recommend this place for sure.

Gorgeous Sunsets

Your first impression may give you pause as you pull in to the covered parking space and the hill down to the side door has no path. That being said, once you are inside the house it is very clean, spacious and quite charming. Then you move to the lovely kitchen, open dining area and screened porch, all with spectacular views of the lake that take your breath away. My wife and I both agreed that it was the most relaxing vacation we've ever been on. The kayaking was wonderful once you get the knack of the launch pad.. The neighbors on both sides were very nice. The advice from Katherine to paddle to hidden lake was truly appreciated. Train was going by as we approached the trestle bridge. What a surprise hidden lake was,,, not to be missed. The train whistles from time to time (infrequent) might put some off but we loved them and thought it added to the character and charm of this very special place. We shall DEFINITELY be back next year. P.S. Don't miss the Old Schoolhouse Restaurant on Rte 39 in Chappell (don't be put off by the outside of the building). -Kathleen & Bob

Awesome Getaway

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this house on Lake Greenwood and we have enjoyed our stay both times. We have never had a problem with any part of our stay. My husband and I come to fish and just relax. It’s definitely perfect for that! We will definitely be back.

Relaxing

I wanted a place to visit with my elderly parents and this was absolutely perfect....beautiful view...perfect place! Will definitely be a repeat visitor...sunsets were amazing...loved the quietness of the spot...and the beds were so comfortable I need to ask the name of the mattress!

Big Water Views

We were able to stay four nights, but if our schedule allowed we would have liked to stay longer. The host is very accommodating and efficient. We loved the big sweeping water views - everything about this property was delightful.

Cozy cottage with a great view

We were in the area for a family party. Needed to find a comfy place for our stay and didn’t want a boring hotel. Picked the perfect place. The cottage is charming, especially the living room area that has many windows looking out over the lake. Had 2 campfires in the great fire pit. We did find the TV to be very complicated to use. Could be our age ! Catherine the host is wonderful and very responsive. Very quiet neighborhood. Nice for walks in the country. We were there in late November

Quick Trip

Relaxing and Fun

The house is very relaxing and has everything you need for a fun stay including fishing poles, kayaks, and starter wood for a nice fire for s'mores. My husband enjoyed celebrating his birthday weekend with family! We enjoyed watching him get in the kayak from the dock and fall right into the lake. Talk about entertainment!

Dont know where to start

This house and owner are amazing. Ownee rwsponded to every mwssage quickly. She is super good at hosting. The house is perfect. I made every meal there and never needed something rhat wasnt there. The rooms are very spacious and beautifully decorated. So many games we never unpacked ours. We rented this house to spemd a week with our grandkids, as we live in Maryland. We couldn't have chose a better place. We will definitely return.

Labor Day getaway

Great place to stay for the Labor Day weekend. Nice home on a quiet street. We enjoyed the dock and fire pit. We rented a boat from Skippers and got to explore the lake and swim. The kids loved the jungle jump at skippers. Would definitely stay again.

Girl Scout weekend

We had a few girl scouts staying at this property with a leader and a few staying at another house on the street with another leader. This house was the perfect set up to feed 7 girls. There was plenty of space to watch a movie together and do all of their work for their Girl Scout Journey. The views were amazing and we loved swimming from the dock. Great trip! I hope to come back someday with my family. The owner was a great communicator as well.
