The Huffman House has been in our family for three generations, dating back to when my Grandpa bought the house from the Root family.

You're not staying in an investment property, this home is our family home and has been for over 50 years. We want to share the wonderful amenities and character of the 3000+sqft home with you while we are away. Located right next to Root candles and the square & with an Office, Laundry room, Coffee bar and Private balcony...welcome home and to historic Medina!

You have access to the whole house. Each room has it's own unique flare and amenities. The master has a small walk in closet and private half bath. The "Blue room" has beautiful vintage furniture and a large closet full of children's toys. The "Green room" has a queen size bed and a modern flare. The "Yellow room" is geared towards the traveler with a simple grace with a private balcony to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or book. Downstairs enjoy a private office space, reading lounge, large family dining room, quaint breakfast nook, large kitchen, front patio and sunroom/laundry room .

A beautiful place to stay

Charming historic home with 4 bedrooms that spent our family of 7 perfectly. The home had tons of gathering spaces. Had everything that our family needed and more! Love the town center and got to enjoy its vibrant shops and farmer's market. A+

There was a lot of room in this clean home, and the house was very close to everything we could have needed in the Medina area. Interesting history to the home as well!

Great home for a large family stay

The home was great for hosting out-of-state family. Two beds are actual doubles vs. queens and sofa can only sleep one as it is not a pullout sofa. So occupancy is 9. Loved the character of this old home. Outside is a bit unkept, but inside is beautiful. We had a deer and two fawns in the backyard in the middle of town!

Eclipse visit

We went to Medina for the total eclipse. This property worked well for the 6 of us. Just enough beds and space. The girls loved the hoverboard.

Absolutely Wonderful!

My family & I had a fantastic stay at the Huffman House. It was very spacious, clean, charming, and had an excellent location. I would highly recommend this home and would definitely stay here again!

Large house

My family and I stayed here during the weekend of my wedding, the house fit us all comfortably and fit all 5 of our cars in the driveway which was awesome. The house is definitely old and historic which leads to some of the doors not closing properly and the door handles falling off sometimes. Overall we had a great stay.

Cool historical home in a great location

We enjoyed our stay at this historical home in Medina. The location was great...just a few blocks from Medina's square. The bedrooms were nicely sized with comfortable beds. The listing states sleeps 10 but I don't see how that's possible as there wasn't a pullout sofa. I would say sleeps 9 at most with one person on the couch. The house had a nice kitchen space with all you could need (foil, plastic bags, soap, sponge, etc) and laundry room with detergent. The front and back yards were large so lots of room for the kiddos to run around. The fire pit was nice, and it came with wood but there are no outdoor chairs to enjoy the space. All in all, we liked this home and would stay again!

A step into history

The Huffman House is a treasure trove of 19th century history updated to accommodate a large group. The TV, Wifi and modern appliances were happily utilized. The layout with its huge dining room, working kitchen and generous bedrooms reminded me of a movie set for a story set in the Gilded Age. The host was helpful and accommodating. Very clean with easy house rules to follow.

Charming old home in Medina

Great place for a group to gather. Walking distance to shops and places to grab coffee or dinner. The owners have worked hard to decorate with period pieces and upgrade the bathrooms. Having a washer and dryer was a plus. The house did not have central air, but the room units worked great! Plenty of parking behind the house. We couldn't find the pack and play, but I thought it was too late to bother the owner. The floors looked clean, but turned the kids feet black. I would recommend this house.

Worth it

As advertised, older home which has some amazing beauty to it. Stayed with my young children and it was perfect. Great location, spent a few days in Medina square getting ice cream and shops, easy process, friendly owners, all positive from our experience. Lots of room in house and I would stay here again definitely.

Great Historical home.

Huffman House review

We enjoyed our stay in this nice and quiet neighborhood. Could not see a house number so at first we had a little bit of trouble finding the house. Overall it was a very good experience.
