This Property is a 8bdm, hilltop, secluded waterfront Rustic Lodge, nestled on 3 wooded acres, just 3 miles from I-45. with many activities and amenities to entertain all ages! Owners reside on 2 acre property adjacent to property for onsite management.

Enjoy breathtaking sunsets on the large 1640sf. shaded 2nd story deck and covered porch. Two mature lighted trees, thorough the deck, providing a natural reflective ceiling after the sunset. Party string lights above provide a warm festive setting for family dining or an event Reception! Come and relax in the refreshing indoor pool and enjoy an exciting game of volleyball, or a competitive game in the lighted sand court lakeside! Bring back simple pleasures that can include a spirited game of sand volleyball, pickleball or Bean-Bag Toss, and adjacent to the lighted, furnished lakeside 650sf deck for 16, and mooring for 3 watercraft. All are shaded after 6:30 in the warm seasons! These and other activities with your friends and family, provide treasured and lasting memories!

.The Estate is surrounded by a canopy of lighted pecan, oak and towering pine trees on 3 acres with a private wildlife peninsula. Treehouses are also available to rent.

For added entertainment; a first floor game room with a 9ft. pool table is adjacent to an Indoor heated swimming pool, ping pong and 7ft pool table for birthday parties, Graduations, Wedding Events, Family Reunions and Corporate Retreats

The rooms and pool were immaculate. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. There were enough chairs and sitting areas all over the house. The host was very accommodating and friendly. We brought our boat but fishing was slow. The grounds were awesome. The house itself had way to many stairs for our old knees. 20 years younger we could have hanged with so many...lol. But over all we made due. Our family reunion was excellent. Thanks Bruce.

This house was perfect for our large family. There were 18 of us there with plenty of room to sleep. We are able to keep the couples together and the singles separate. The indoor pool, the pool table, and poker table were a hit. Bruce was an excellent host. Answered all questions and concerns.

We had a great time from kayaking to swimming, fishing, playing pool, pickleball and having s’mores! Wonderful place for our mom’s 95th birthday celebration as she could sit on the deck or inside watching and visiting with everyone.

The property was beautifully located. It was close to alot of things, but then you felt secluded also. It was not quite like the pictures. They may need some more up to date ones. The indoor pool was wonderful on those days it rained and the kids had nothing to do. The kayaks and canoe both had leaks so could not go very far. I loved the large deck and all the furniture to sit at with tables. We had 3 levels of beds so we was able to accomplish everyone and keep the noise down for the babies. Lots of parking space so that was nice. The owner or property manager does live on site and he will come in and take care of the pool so we did not know when he would do that.

The owner was friendly and lives on site so he was readily available when needed. The house was dirty and dusty. One of the refrigerators did not work which complicated trying to store food for that many people. There were no additional pool towels and the house was stocked with exactly enough for everyone to use one which means we did laundry all weekend because the teenagers were in the pool constantly and then did not have a towel to shower. The Pickleball court was definitely the best part and the kids had a blast. The upper deck patio was nice and spacious, but it was very dirty. I had to spend quite some time cleaning the grill before I could even use it and that outdoor kitchen area was cluttered and dirty!

Family reunion getaway

The peaceful surroundings and multiple outdoor entertainment spaces made it an ideal place for our family reunion and birthday party. There were multiple levels and stairways inside that made it a little difficult to navigate for older people in the party but at the same time gave privacy to the different family groups when needed.

Great place...great setting!

We had a great time at this awesome property in Willis. There was plenty of room for everyone and we got to sit out on the beautiful deck overlooking the lake. It was pretty cold on Saturday night, but Bruce and Cheryl have multiple fire pits and cozy spots. This was a great spot for my 50th bday party!

Excellent for groups

Our group of 17 had a fantastic stay! There are plenty of activities to keep everyone busy volleyball, fishing, kayaking, swimming, board games, billiards. There is also a fire pit and grill for guests to use. The house was clean and the host was friendly and readily available.

Lots of Potential

The house sat on a great plot of land with plenty of room for kids to run around and play. There is so much potential for this home, though it does need a lot of maintenance and clean up to become a comfortable place to stay. The indoor pool was nice but very difficult to keep warm!

Great Vacation

They do live on site, which I wasn't aware was so close, but having them there ended up being helpful. If you have any issues they can correct immediately.
