Great resting spot for visiting Cowboy Dinner Tree

Small but cozy space. The loft area has a very short ceiling and best for small children, so I'm glad we didn't bring our (very tall) teenagers. Enjoyed some classic DVDs but the TV doesn't have great sound. The heating unit is also very loud, which made it a little hard for me to get to sleep. But overall, very clean and great for a one night stay so we didn't have to drive home after a food-coma inducing dinner!

Can’t wait to come back

My wife and I spent 3 days for Thanksgiving here and we loved every minute. So warm and cozy with everything you need. Cindy was very kind and welcoming.

Nice little quiet place 2 blocks from the highway. A perfect place to stay for visiting the Cowboy Dinner Tree. Has most all the basics and a comfortable bed.

An Absolute Gem!!

The cabin was spotless, quiet and peaceful with many thoughtful extra amenities. Host Cindy gave us great tips on local activities (which we enjoyed immensely) from dining to hiking to travel tips. The instructions for pets were clear and reasonable given the excellent condition of the cabin. This is a hidden gem, highly recommend it!

Cozy Little House

We stayed four nights and loved this house! It's quiet and cozy. The weather was gorgeous and the evenings were crisp. The Cowboy Dinner Tree is just a few minutes away. We'll be back next year!

Great place to stay in Silver Lake

Cabin was clean and had everything necessary for a comfortable stay. We had 4 in our group and there was plenty of space. Children would really be happy in the loft.

Great Communication

Nice location. Was informed that bug spray was needed and for sure was. Cookies were left for us- was a nice touch. We stopped by the place just to make sure we knew where we were going and were told we could get in early. Was helpful as we had been up since 4AM. Nice collection of movies as there was no cable. We were informed of that- but was VERY nice to be able to UN-PLUG!! For sure would recommend, as well as stay again!!

Great stopover

While Silver Lake is pretty sleepy, this cabin is a great little crash pad when coming through the area. Loft is definitely tight but great for kids. Fire ring outside with a horseshoe pit. Five minute drive to Cowboy Dinner Tree. Lots of desert to explore. Close to Central Oregon and on the way to Reno. Thank you for a great stay!

Stay for wedding weekend

Our entire stay was excellent. Cindy was so easy to work with and even helped us when we had to change our reservations slightly before we got there. She even texted to make sure everything was good during our stay. It was easy to get help with any questions or needs we had. Cindy was quick to respond! I would recommend staying in this location for any Silver Lake, Summer Lake or even Christmas Valley adventures. We enjoyed the cold evenings (windows open), the coyotes serenading in the nights, and seeing the beautiful stars at night. Go Explore!

Great place to stay over while traveling

Arrived and the cabin was ready to go and as advertised. I was worried that it was behind someones primary house on the kisting. That is not the case. It is on it's own lot.
