Dancing tides was a very quiet and quaint property perfect for what we were looking for after being near Bar Harbor for a few nights. It was lovely to relax in a quieter, yet still just as beautiful part of Maine. The views of the harbor were stunning!

The view from this property is absolutely mesmerizing. The sunrises were absolutely amazing. It is a bit remote but not too far away from hiking and restaurants. The kitchen was adequately stocked but definitely not gourmet. A fireplace would have been a nice addition.

Very satisfied with everything --the view from our deck was spectacular morning noon and night--even the fog was great. . Very secluded , but not far from anything --- Schoodic Point was majestical. Took great shots of the Lighthouse on Grand Petit Island from the deck in the early morning sunrise with my Bridge Camera. I'd say we would be back but can't say when--but we will stay at Dancing tides again when we do . Nne days wasn't nearly long enough !Stayed from Sept.27th to Oct. 7th.

This is one of our favorite vacation spots. Great location on the water; you can sit on the deck on nice days and watch the lobster boats go by. Quiet, wooded neighborhood on a dirt road. The house is within easy driving distance of Winter Harbor and Schoodic.

Such a wonderful time spent here. The house has everything you need. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms was a huge plus, not mention having a washer and dryer. This home is well maintained and allows for a great stay. The views are amazing water front!!So close to Acadia and and several excellent restaurants. We will definitely return.

The perfect escape and nice to be away from the bustle in the Bar Harbor area. Sunrise late September spot on. We could have stayed longer and we’ll be back to Schoodic Peninsula.

Beach front stay!

The cottage was wonderful for my sister and I! Incredible to wake and have coffee out on the deck overlooking the ocean! The place is nice and clean and cheery!

Cozy Cottage Retreat

Lovely place to stay while getting away from everything. Maine is beautiful in winter and it was wonderful to be snowbound, watch the ocean waves and read a good book!

Adorable and peaceful Location

I came here with my 3 kids (in their 20’s)Sitting on the porch in the morning and at night was absolutely dreamy. Very quaint home. Plenty of restaurants nearby. We came for hiking and we were not disappointed.

Right on the water as advertised with a lovely view. Woke every morning to the sound of lobster boats and waves hitting the rocks. Very peaceful. Enjoyed being so close to Schoodic and taking the ferry from Winter Harbor to Bar Harbor. Love this quiet part of Maine. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
