Host was very responsive and informative. We stayed 4 nights for our daughter’s softball tournament. The house was 5 min away from the softball fields. And a great location for kids activities. Right down the street from Moody gardens and the sea wall. 3 kids 6 adults fit perfect. Air mattress was great as well. Only thing I would suggest is more toilet paper for people staying longer. Other than that no complaints. Great stay

Very cute home in a quiet location. There were shops and places to eat nearby. We only stayed one night but it would be perfect for longer stays. The family enjoyed the pool table and foosball table.

Suggest the following:Add an ice maker for refrigerator; add a dishwasher; repair or replace dryer; replace billiard cues .The neighboring property on right (south) side is an eyesore.

Charming Getaway Close to Beach

This home was a great place to stay and close to beach and all shopping needs. Quiet location yet very convenient. We were returning from a cruise but staying over for a fishing charter and requested an early check-in and the hosts were very responsive and accommodating. This made the last two days of our vacation so enjoyable.! I would recommend this location and host to others with no hesitation!

Excellent stay!!

Loved this place! We vacationed with our adult children and our grandchildren, the condo offered plenty of space and accommodations for all. After a long day at the beach, it was nice to have entertainment such as the pool table and board games to come home to. The place was extremely clean, and the neighborhood was quiet. We will definitely book here in the future! 10 out of 10 stars!

2 night stay

Pretty disappointed in the property as far as the accuracy of this listing. They have a BBQ pit but it's missing pieces and its falling apart. The neighborhood looks good to the house from the main street but don't keep driving cause you'll regret staying there.

Hi Edgar, Thank you for your feedback. We're very sorry to hear your stay didn't meet expectations. We always aim to provide a great experience and it's disappointing to know we missed the mark for you this time. We truly wish you had reached out to us during your stay — we’re available 24/7 and would have done our best to address the issue with the BBQ grill right away or offer an alternative solution. Your comments have been passed along to our team so we can ensure the grill is either repaired or replaced promptly. As for the neighborhood, we understand that perceptions can vary, but many guests have shared positive experiences regarding the area and its convenient location. Thank you again for staying with us. We genuinely appreciate your input and hope you’ll consider giving us another opportunity in the future to provide the five-star experience we always strive for.

This was an amazing location. Very convenient to the water, Moody Gardens, and shops. House was comfy and accommodated 5 adults and 2 kids very nicely. Host was extremely quick with responses to questions. Be ready to climb steps all day especially with little ones. If you are a true cook, the kitchen utensils and pots/ pans are the best. Can opener didn't work well and there was no potato peeler. The gas stove however was AMAZING!!! Also, the grill outside is not the best but it does the trick!! The water pressure isn't the best but it's relaxing. The balcony is great at sunrise and sunset. Beds were good to dine but not for others, it's personal preference and host can't meet everyone's mattress type. The foosball table was missing some of the rubber handles and scratched and poked a few of us as we walked by them. Just be careful. Overall nice and calm place. If you seek perfection this house isn't for you. If you seek calm, chill, warm, and welcoming, THIS IS IT!!!
I was able to cook for the entire group of 8. I did bring my own skillet.

Needs updated listing

We quickly rented this house because our previous reservation was canceled only 10 days before vacation. I searched for "swimming pool", and this home came up. Private swimming pool was listed as an amenity, but there were no pictures. I searched on Google maps, and there IS a picture of a pool at this address... so we were stoked. Until we got there and discovered that the pool is no longer there. I had a lot of disappointed little people. Otherwise, the place was OK. There aren't any supplied beach chairs, so you'll need to pack those. The clothes dryer sounds like it's on its last leg... close to bedrooms and LOUD, so that was annoying. So... generally OK, but not what was advertised/ expected. We had questions about the AC and wifi. Hosts did not respond to my specific questions, so we just figured things out the best we were able... each response was just the standard instructions for check-in,etc.

Nightmare Rental

I’ll summarize this nightmare scenario, they doubled booked it blamed it on the booking process people. Then blamed us saying we didn’t tell them in advance notice there was a gas leak in their property; we now suffer from carbon monoxide poisoning, but we are the ones that called the fire department. My service animal tried her best to alert me to get out all night but it was raining I thought it was due to her being in new surroundings. This owner and company are very irresponsible vacation rental. One side note 2 bedrooms had red blinking lights on the fire detectors one room it was a hole where it should have been. There was no carbon monoxide detector nowhere in the whole rental. So there the nightmare!! Walk through any rental property making sure it has working fire/ carbon monoxide detector. Don’t let it ruin your whole vacation experience. It was a lesson learned for our family!
