This was a perfect hotel-like set up with a cozy home feel…could not have asked for better. It had all the basic necessities with comfortable beds, relaxing living room and lots of space. It also had a great back yard and furniture to relax and enjoy your morning coffee. The best was that it was in the perfect area for my son’s graduation from Fort Jackson, getting food from the food store, and great cafes and restaurants. I would definitely rent this home again.

Great stay!

Communication was good. House was clean and in good order. We were in town for a family member's wedding. Most excited that we were within walking distance of Cafe Strudel. Would stay again.

This place was rated a 10/10 and I'm trying my hardest to understand how. It's in a convenient location. Very close to museums, dining, etc. so my assumption is that's the reason. I was there for a work conference at the convention center and it was only 6 mins away, which is part of the reason I chose it. Upon immediate arrival, I felt uncomfortable because it looked wiped over, not thoroughly clean. There were obvious urine stains on the bed, I wanted to immediately check out. I reached out the host and she informed me that if I decided to leave, there was not going to be an option of a refund. With that, we attempted to make it work. All was ok until the next day when the sink started to fill up with water. I reached out to the host and ask if they could come and fix. She said they would come once we left the next day. It was super uncomfortable to cook, because the sink was loaded with water. About an hour different, water started to fill up on the floor. The kitchen floor was full of water, the hallway, the bathroom, it was gross and disgusting. I had to cancel the last day of my work meeting, because I didn't know if it was sewage or what. Water was everywhere. I have young children and I had to pack them up at 2 am to head home. This surely is not 10/10. I sent photos to the host of the water and she said "Thank you for the photos and documenting." ???-Very compassionate-We decided to leave and shared a video. Was offered 1 night refund. I will NEVER rent here again.

Hi Shadora, thank you for sharing your feedback. We sincerely apologize that your stay did not meet expectations, particularly regarding the cleanliness and unexpected plumbing issue. We would like to clarify a few points for future guests. The plumbing issue was first brought to our attention late in the evening, around 11 PM, and maintenance was not able to access the property until the following morning. When the garbage disposal was inspected, it was found to be clogged with a large amount of noodles. Garbage disposals are intended for small amounts of food and are not designed to handle large quantities of food at once. This issue had not been reported by the previous guests or our cleaners prior to your stay. We understand how disruptive and stressful the water incident must have been, especially with your children. We appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention and wish you and your family all the best.

Terrific getaway with family

Lovely property. Location excellent. Well cared for and apparently new. Nice patio area under cover with a fan. Attention to every possible want or need. Kitchen totally outfitted for a stay. A nice backyard and they even had clean up baggies for your dog. Could not have asked for better host or property.
