Our family's long weekend at Turquoise Shells was excellent in every regard. From check-in to check-out, the entire stay was seamless. The location of the property is great and allowed for a leisurely walk to coffee on the Strand in the morning and to the Seawall for dinner and drinks in the evening. The property was meticulous and well appointed. We utilized the beach chairs in the garage for an afternoon at East Beach. The property is pet friendly (as was most of Galveston) and our pup felt right at home. We will definitely book Turquoise Shells again in the future.

We had an AMAZING stay at Turquoise Shells! The property was beautifully appointed with great attention to detail and design. The owners are fantastic to work with and they are easy to get in touch with, quick to respond and so very kind. We especially enjoyed having all the comforts of home (full kitchen, washer and dryer, great closet space, comfortable beds and 2.5 bathrooms) with space for my family to spread out and relax. This location can't be beat if you are looking for something close to The Strand or to UTMB Hospital. The area is quiet but conveniently close to all of the Galveston attractions and I would recommend this property to anyone planning a trip to the island. Thank you, Turquoise Shells! You offered peace and tranquillity when it was very much needed!

Great Location/Great Amenities

We used this property for a couples weekend getaway. The property was spacious enough for three couples to comfortable stay. The rental provides a ton of amenities from kitchen appliances to plenty of beach equipment. There’s plenty of space inside and outside the property to relax and enjoy your stay. Short walk to the beach and very close to the strand as well. Very hard to beat the location, the amenities and the price.

Awesome property! Fully stocked with almost everything a family could need! Kids enjoyed the ping pong table. Close to the beach and to the strand. Not a bad drive to schlitterbahn. Very clean and comfortable. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!

Fabulous in every way

My sisters and I stayed at Turquoise Shells for a short vacation. It was everything I was hoping for and more. The place is so nice and clean. Having two and 1/2 baths was perfect for the four of us. Leena and Pravin

Beautiful home

The home was beautiful and the host were exceptionally hospitable. We loved our time there. Our pups enjoyed their stay too. The home even provided food and water bowl and potty bags for helping to clean up after our little ones. The only challenge we’re the large dogs next door. They seemed friendly enough, but the short fence allowed one of them to come over it at one point. We made sure Tom go out with our pups every time, just to make sure all was well.

PERFECT!

Due to an unexpected hospital stay and death of a family member, we found ourselves in Galveston, and then after an effortless check-in, at Turquoise Shells. Pravin and Leena were amazing, and when we needed to extend our stay, they were easy to communicate with and extremely kind. Their beautifully renovated and impeccably maintained property was the peaceful oasis that we needed in the middle of our personal storm. Turquoise Shells is professionally decorated, incredibly organized and has many extra touches like plush towels, a multi- plug phone charging station and a stocked coffee bar area. We will be coming back to this property under better circumstances to enjoy the beach and would HIGHLY recommend to anyone renting from Pravin and Leena!

This place and host are phenomenal! We have stayed at several places, and this one has become our favorite. This our first time staying here and when my family comes down with us, this is our pick! My daughter’s dogs were welcomed! If you forget dog bowls, no worries, there are several to choose from. You guys will not be disappointed.
