Great place for a fishing trip or a weekend getaway! This cozy little spot sits right on the Obey River in Celina. It is just 1 mile out of town and a short 5 minute drive from Dale Hollow Lake. This house has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and a full kitchen. Outside, enjoy 2 covered porches. One, of course, overlooking the beautiful and misty Obey River. It also conveniently has a fish cleaning station for the catch of the day. Come enjoy Celina and all it has to offer!

Great Location and Friendly communication

The Cabin was located right on the Obey river and easy to find. The host was very communicative and the cabin was cozy, clean, and warm even during the arctic blast. Highly recommend.

Quiet and Relaxing Getaway!

My Husband & I traveled from San Diego to visit our Son & Daughter in law for Thanksgiving. This little cabin by the river was perfect! It had everything we needed! It was so quiet and cozy, close to restaurants and stores! I would highly recommend!

Nice stay

We had a nice, relaxing weekend stay at the Misty Haven. Everything worked as described. The back porch with the river view was fantastic. The cabin is next to a campground that I think was closed for the season. It was nice and quiet.

Nice but rough sleep

Everything was nice other than the mattress in the master. It was WAY to hard like sleeping on the floor. We tried the 1st night but slept on the sofa and love seat the following night.

Nice getaway on peaceful river

My husband and I and our 15 yr old son stayed 3 nights. This trip was intended as a fishing trip and unfortunately didn't get one bite. Pretty sure it was just the time of year because locals weren't catching anything either. We did kayak In the river up to the dam. It was pretty and the weather was good for us. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. My only complaint would be the furniture (couches, rugs, pillows) could use an upgrade. Overall it was nice. Would visit again in spring or summer.

Nice cabin

The cabin was nice and the walk down to the river was nice. We had a beautiful view of the Obey River. The master bedroom mattress was very firm and the cabin had a bit of a musty odor. Also it was right next to a travel trailer park.

Girl trip

House was clean,well stocked. Close to a dollar store but we didn’t get out much. Bed was comfy most of all it was quiet. Water was right there so you can walk out and fish. Had a good time.

Very cozy

Perfect get away

We love staying here! Perfect get away to reconnect,fish,and venture around. The location is awesome with the river just a few steps away.The home is super clean, has everything you need , if you need anything the stores are right there and the people are very friendly. Dale Hollow lake activities

Nothing fancy but just what we were looking for. Access to Dale Hollow was great, very peaceful and secluded. Cabin has great River View and had the needed amenities for the week.

Lake trip 06/14-06/19/2024

Cabin was clean and conveniently located close to the lake. Being on the river was a huge bonus as well. Our stay was peaceful and quiet. The owner was very easy to communicate with. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

Visiting with dear friends

So thankful to have had the chance to share some time with a dear friend of mine and her husband (who grew up in Celina!) after working in Knoxville for the weekend. This was the perfect spot to (attempt) do some fishing and relax with friends. The fire pit was perfect for making s'mores!

Relaxing get away

Our grown boys were each able to get away from their jobs and join us. We all had a great time. Did some fishing on one of the prettiest lakes I've ever been on. Also enjoyed touring the surrounding area. Will be back.
