Pasadena at New Years

Great location for all things Rose Parade related. Comfortable bed and living space. I recommend to walk to Eaton canyon for a wonderful hike complete with waterfalls. Parking was tight even with a small car.

Clean, Quiet, and Convenient

This home was very well organized and friendly. We had a restful and fun time staying in this nice home. The kitchen was well equipped and fun to work in.

Nice and comfortable

This is a very clean unit in a quiet neighborhood. James is communicative and nice. I want to give his unit 5 stars but just can’t. Over our four night stay, noise from the adjoining unit woke us up or kept us up several times, especially when the shower was running.

Nice place!

This was a very nice place to stay. It was in a quiet neighborhood & we had no issues whatsoever. I recommend booking this place if you are in the Pasadena/LA area!

Great Value Stay

Host was wonderfully communicative! Great space for a reasonable price. We had a larger car so we chose to pay for street parking (our choice) and we were provided all the information needed in advance. Quiet neighborhood close to lots of activities. We brought our own infant gear and it worked great in the space!

Great Location, Gracious Host

James is a responsive host. His little Bungalow is charming and so Pasadena. Close to everything and easy freeway access, we would happily stay in this little place again.

Our stay in Pasadena was just wonderful. Mr. Chan was an impeccable host—answering our questions right away and taking care of anything we needed very quickly. The house is in one of the quietest neighborhoods we’ve ever stayed in. The house was very clean when we arrived and the cleaning service once a week, which included a change of sheets and towels, was a special treat. The house was roomy and comfortably furnished. We hope to be able stay there any time we come to LA.

A Great Little House!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was really lovely, and it felt very homey and comfortable. We all had a nice bed to sleep in, and the living room area was nice and relaxing. We would stay here again! We did need to re-wash the dishes before using them, but I suspect that was from previous tenants not cleaning them well and putting them away still wet. Overall, it was great!

Perfect sized space for family stay

We enjoyed our visit and found the place to be a nice size for our family of 4. The neighborhood is lovely and so convenient to so many stores. Very easy to get around. The owner provided good instructions and the process was very easy.

Great place!

This was mine and my family’s second time staying here, and everything was great once again. Host is very good with communicating/explaining check in instructions. The kitchen was equipped with things for cooking and coffee which was nice, and overall the entire place was cozy and very clean. Would definitely stay again!

Good location, covers the basics

Stayed here for a month while doing research at the Huntington. Very close to stores, around the corner from a park, very quiet neighborhood good for evening walks. Stayed here for several weeks with 1 child, then husband and other child arrived for the last week. Definitely enough space for two of us, got a little tight with four of us but for a week that was fine. Laundry on site which was a huge plus for us. Would stay there again for a similar kind of visit.

Wonderful little place

My family stayed over for a night during a long road trip. It was perfect for us - quiet, peaceful, clean, easy check-in/check-out, and great communication from the owner. And it was a bargain on top of that - our rate was easily cheaper than most hotels in the area. It had plenty of room for my family of 3. This place seemed like it would be great for a business traveler. If I'm ever in need of a place to stay in this area again, I would rebook this unit in a heartbeat.

Comfortable Space

Our half of the bungalow accommodated our general needs very well. Great location in quiet residential neighborhood. Very comfortable king bed. James, the host, was very responsive to our needs and questions and went out of his way to make our stay comfortable.

Perfect Stay

We came to Arcadia to visit family and found this to be a perfect place to stay. Great location, so cute, beautiful neighborhood to walk, and well maintained. This made our trip so great. Would defiantly recommend and stay here again.

Quiet neighborhood, responsive owner

We stayed at this property during college visits in the LA area. It was a great property for our family - quiet neighborhood, off-street parking, and well stocked with bedding and kitchen items. The owner was also VERY responsive to our messages and queries.

Great location!

Took my 16 yo brother with and we had a great stay. As pictured. Comfy. Host was responsive. We had a minor issue but he was quick to address. Neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe

Clean, comfortable and quiet.

This bungalow is in a very pretty, quiet and quaint neighborhood, close to everything via city streets and freeway, approximately 10 mins away. The rental is in the main house facing the street. It’s very clean, comfortable and looks newly renovated. It has everything you will need for your stay, particularly if you are cooking your meal there. James is a delightful and accommodating host. He is concerned about your well being as his guest. So he is easily accessible. I highly recommend this choice for the above reasons and that it is more cost efficient than most other rentals in the area. You will be very happy here.

Just what we needed

Great location, very nice neighborhood. Place was clean and functional, had everything we needed. James was very responsive and helpful for local suggestions. No hassles, no surprises. We had to leave our vehicle on the street one night and the instructions were clear, $3 online payment (but the property has parking in back).

I spent four months studying abroad in Japan before graduating from UCR (University of California, Riverside). In my free time, you will find me doing various kinds of sports, such as hiking, camping, cycling, scuba diving, and hang gliding.

Having traveled to a number of countries, I got a decent sense of the essential needs for travelers. My goal is to provide you a comfortable space with essential amenities, while saving from the extravagant services that you may not necessary need, so you’re left with more funds for traveling!
