Situated right on the ocean, this newly renovated duplex offers some of the most spectacular views anywhere on the island. You will be staying in the one bedroom guest suite on the first floor of the house that features a fully stocked kitchen, a backyard, and private beach access.

The house is located on a quiet cul-de-sac and an easy 15 minute walk through a scenic waterfront park leads you to downtown Kodiak.

Absolutely wonderful spot - great location, good amenities (washer/dryer was extremely clutch after we got off a cruise immediately beforehand), and the ocean views are breathtaking, Would absolutely stay here again!

I loved everything about this unit. It was right on the water and in a very convenient location. I’m hoping to return to Kodiak again soon and would book here again. It was perfect for 2 people.

Beautiful location

Very nice place! Clean, well stocked and the perfect location. We walked out to the beach every morning to play in the tide pools and watch the wildlife. Absolutely recommend!

Very clean and comfortable. Fully-stocked kitchen. Loved the available washer/dryer. Nice neighborhood and views. Great photo ops from the rocky beach at low tide. Would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. It is very spacious, well stocked and in a great location. We watched the otters play from the shoreline. There was a pair of golden eagles nesting in the tree next door. They were on a stump right outside the back door on our last morning.

Cozy rental on the water

Had all the conveniences. Clean and cozy. Spectacular views Host was quick to respond to any questions we had and flexible to meet our requests. Highly recommend this place couples.

Just as advertised. I had beach access right out of the door. I could watch seals play from my room. It was clean and ready for us. A very relaxing getaway.

Perfect

Amazing waterfront location! Very clean space with all needed amenities. We loved going down to the beach every morning to search for sea glass. The trampoline was a fun way to get some extra energy out. The porch is covered, which allowed us to dine al fresco even in the rain. We would definitely recommend this place to friends, and would stay again if we went back to Kodiak.

Picturesque and tranquility

The property is very well maintained. It is very clean and welcoming.Its really nice yo have basic staples in the kitchen so we didnt have to run out and buy all spices. Coffee and tea were also stocked. Its a quiet little area other than boats and water planes coming and going, which to us is part of the charm. This was our second time staying here and looking forwsrd to our next.

Beautiful view, beautiful home

I could not ask for anything more than this quaint, welcoming little house. It has all the conveniences of home. I appreciated the personal care items as well. (I'm sorry, my husband packed up the makeup remover cloths thinking they were mine). I loved the different textures of the walls, really quite charming! The kitchen was well equipped. Although I would say definitely should put some kitchen utensils in there so they don't scratch non stick pans. We loved the house. We loved watching the sea otters and a seal. I also heard a whale blow, didn't see him, he was behind the tree. I appreciated how much work was put into making this a very lovely home away from home. I can't wait to come back!

I wish I could stay longer!

My fiancé and I stayed her for about 3 weeks in July. We loved everything about this property and wished we could have stayed longer. The water is so close to you. You can literally see whales and otters and seals from the bedroom. We even saw a whale tale not 200 ft away from our front door (so cool!!). I was able to work remotely off of the wifi and only had connectivity issues for one day, which was fixed instantly once I notified the property manager. The kitchen was stocked with everything you needed to cook from home. One thing that we really appreciated was the fact that they asked guests to remove their shoes before stepping onto the carpet. The whole apartment felt overwhelmingly clean which was fantastic. The last thing I will mention is the private access to the beach where you can find an endless amount of sea glass. We loved every second of this stay. If you are on the fence about staying here, I promise you, you won’t regret it.

The space was small but comfortable with everything we needed. The informational page on the table was helpful with tips such as that the shower takes a few minutes to warm up. It’s about 1 mile to downtown so we walked and were able to see all we wanted to see. My only negative was that we visited in July and the curtain for the front door let in a lot of light. The windows had better light blocking curtains and I wish the door did too (especially since it’s in the same room with the bed).

The apartment was absolutely adorable, the views are spectacular. Pretty much almost everything is within 5 to 8 minutes from the apartment. If you want amazing pizza go to The Piza pit, if you want spectacular sushi go to Kodiak Hana. Two things I wish the apartment had outside hooks for you raincoat, and an outside table for coffee in the morning..... literally my only complaint! The house were quick to answer messages and so unbelievably accommodating. The pictures are all from the view on the beach or porch
