Secluded Mtn cabin on 35 acres! Pikes peak view, Hottub,close to attractions!

Elk Spring Cabin is a secluded mountain getaway! You can feel completely isolated with no other homes in view. It sits on a hill overlooking the spring fed pond below with awesome Pike's Peak views as a backdrop. It is surrounded by pine and aspen trees on 35 fenced and gated acres. Although it feels remote, it is only 1 1/2 miles from US Hwy 24 on a well maintained County Road and only 30 minutes to Colorado Springs or Cripple Creek and very convenient to all local attractions. You can hike the acreage or relax and enjoy the beautiful back deck and patio area. The views of Pikes Peak from the living room, both bedrooms and the back deck are spectacular and you may experience an occasional deer or elk that wander through the property. This cabin shares the same property with Mountain Sun Cabin yet they are not visible from each other. Both cabins can be rented together for larger groups.

After an exciting day of sightseeing, hiking, biking, rafting or shopping, relax in the Hot Tub, located off both bedrooms, perfect for stargazing. You can also sit in the warm Colorado sun on the Deck or Patio area. When it snows, you can bring cross country skis or snowshoes to explore the property or many nearby trails. When you return, cozy up in front of the Stone Fireplace and watch it snow. You are sure to enjoy all of the conveniences of home including high speed Internet, large Flatscreen TV with BluRay DVD player and surround sound. This can all be enjoyed with the beauty, peace and serenity of the Rocky Mountains in this special home. The cabin is cozy and romantic for two, but large enough for the whole family.

This was my third stay at this location. It’s always perfect. From the hot tub to the fireplace to the fully stocked kitchen, it has everything you need. The host is super communicative.

The view is miraculous! I enjoyed every minute of being in the cabin, as well as being able to sight see a huge portion of the Colorado Springs area! A perfect distance to so many things to do including the Cog Railway, Cave of the Winds Park, Cripple Creek, Garden of the Gods, and more! Our hosts also let us check in around 1pm when check in was at 3pm, despite the rental agreement saying no early check in. The hosts also provided responses to any questions or concerns we ran into in less than five minutes and were as friendly as can be. I would absolutely stay here again!

Perfect Cabin Retreat Near Woodland ParkThis was our third time staying at this cabin, and somehow it keeps getting better with each visit! We spent Thanksgiving here and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect getaway.- Location: The cabin is wonderfully secluded, offering peace and quiet, yet it’s incredibly easy to access right off the main highway and just a short drive from Woodland Park. It strikes the perfect balance between privacy and convenience.- Amenities: Everything you need is provided—from a fully stocked kitchen for preparing holiday meals to all the essentials for household tasks. The attention to detail makes it feel like a true home away from home.- Experience: The hot tub is a highlight, especially paired with the breathtaking view of sunrise over Pikes Peak while sipping morning coffee. It’s moments like these that make the stay unforgettable.- Hosts: The hosts are fantastic—friendly, responsive, and genuinely committed to ensuring guests have an excellent time. Their hospitality makes the whole experience seamless and enjoyable.We can’t recommend this cabin highly enough. It’s become a tradition for us, and we look forward to returning again and again!

Kyle was kind and accommodating. The location and cabin was perfect- a dreamy cabin in the woods. Very clean and had everything you could think of. There was the extra touch of dollar bills that made a fun game. Loved the Christmas decorations in the home. Could not have picked a more perfect place for vacation.

Wonderful clean cabin and amenities. The host was very helpful in directing us to the cabin as we came in after dark and signage at entrance to the cabin was hard to see. Great home base for all activities around Woodland Park all the way to Florrissent.

What a wonderful spot! This is our 2nd visit and I know we will be back again! The road to the cabin is dirt for the last several miles but is wide and well kept (unlike other dirt roads in CO) so do not be dismayed even in winter. The kitchen is well stocked; the bed is divine, the hot tub is luxurious with the views of the mountains from the tub. If you are wondering, just book it -- you won't regret it!

We had an amazing time! The property could not have been more idyllic, and the cabin itself was so homey and had absolutely everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Beautiful property with all the essentials. We enjoyed the hot tub and watching deer. The beds were comfy. A tornado near the cabin caused the power to go out. Kyle was quick to call and check that we were okay and let us know that power likely wouldn't be back on for a couple days. We would stay here again if in the area.

Rent Elkspring Cabin.

This cabin is in the perfect location to visit many attractions. When you get back from a glorious day of adventure and beauty, your home is secluded, secure, and peaceful. The bird feeders attracted colorful birds, black squirrels, hummingbirds and hot tub was as clean as mine at home, all in view of Pikes Peak. There were other special touches that make this place a treasure!Rent it!

Perfect Honeymoon Getaway

My wife and I stayed here for 5 days for our honeymoon. We had never done anything related to renting Vrbo homes, and we were relieved to see how easy the process was to book, check in, and check out. There’s information provided at the home so we had every question answered before we even needed to ask! Everything about this home is beautiful. The hot tub was definitely the best part of the chilly mornings and evenings. We definitely want to return in the future with the family. This place contributed to an unforgettable honeymoon.

Weekend Getaway

My husband and I loved this cabin! It was very clean cabin with beautiful scenery. The property was fun to explore and so cool being able to see Pike’s Peak from the windows. Throughout the process Kyle was friendly and easy to work with. We showed up an hour early and our car’s clock was an hour ahead (from KC) so we accidentally scared the cleaning person (so sorry again), but they were wonderful about it and even allowed us to check in a little early, once they finished. We were sad it was such a short trip but will definitely be back!!

We have lived in the area for many years and were fortunate to have found this piece of property. We have built both 'cabins' for friends and family to enjoy and have now extended this invitation to the general public to enjoy as we have.

This property offers so much,from hiking, bird watching, wildlife viewing to winter fun including sledding and snowshoeing. We do provide a selection of snowshoes and sleds for our guests to use. It also provides an opportunity to relax, sit on the deck and enjoy absolute solitude while drinking coffee, enjoying the visiting birds and hummingbirds, and basking in the warm sunshine with majestic Pike's Peak as a backdrop.
