We enjoyed 9 days at this cozy and comfortable cabin. The host was attentive to our needs and responded quickly, late at night when a large branch fell on the roof after a big storm.

We very much enjoyed our stay quiet cozy little cabin with a beautiful view of the lake. If we come back to this area we would definitely stay here again

The stay was fine and great! It was Memorial Day and a couple days after. Sad the water trampoline was not set up. I would bring extra towels as there was only a couple. Otherwise the place was fine and had most items! Shower water is a little smelly but doesn’t stay on you. Few spiders in the cabin to be dusted. Beds were great and AC was great.

Beautiful private, quiet lakeside refuge

The Blue Cabin was comfortable and provided a beautiful view of Lake Victoria. Resort owner and manager were very kind and accommodating. We talked to fishermen who said it was a great lake for fishing.

Overall the cabin was comfortable including the queen beds! The heating/cooling system was great! The view from the deck & porch were lovely of the lake. The resort is a rural setting, quiet and peaceful, but only minutes away from bait, fuel, dining out, shopping. We had an event in the area so our stay was based on that, fishing and dining in. Dock space and boat launch were adequate and easily accessible. As far as dining the kitchen needed a few items; colander, tongs and grilling utensils. We like charcoal grilling, but the grill was in poor working order & no supplies or grill brush. Fumbling thru the process took precious time from our short stay. The shortfalls were mostly addressed and we appreciated Raj's (our host) pleasant demeanor and quick response. We came to understand that the resort is in the beginning stages of new builds and this fall will bring about more change. Thank you for a mostly pleasant stay!

This was a great stay for us, 3 nights. Everything was clean and very well equipped. The cabin was campie / rustic but very comfortable. Good memory foam type beds. Furniture is old and not fancy but comfortable. Very good owner / host. Very steep, hard surfaces gravel entrance drive. But no problem for my travel van, even after a heavy rain. Will return.

Lakeside charm

For Labor Day weekend my wife & I decided last minute to see if we could find a Lakeside cabin to rent for a couple of nights. As expected there wasn't much to choose from but this "blue cabin" on Lake Victoria popped up on our search. We checked the pictures online & it appeared that the cabin had been nicely updated & was tastefully decorated. The view of the lake from the cabin was quite adequate. But there were no reviews of the place online. Was this going to be a 'bait & switch' deal here? We took the plunge & booked it. Well, the online pictures were real. The Lakeview was real. The serenity & peace was real. And it turns out, due to new ownership (where the new owners are updating the cabins but keeping the cabin rental pricing competitive) we were the first VRBO guests of the "blue cabin". (They have a number of guests who are seasonal long term renters as well). We lucked out big time! We loved it there. Raj is a likable, accommodating owner with an eye towards making sure his guests have a pleasant lakeside getaway without breaking the bank. He's a genuine nice guy. We really liked the 3 season attached porch with breakfast table & chairs. The entire lakeside "wall" was lined with windows allowing one to see kids fishing from the dock or fishermen motoring on the lake to their next hotspot. Fresh breezes blew in as the cabin faces south making it quite pleasant. The beds were more on the stiffer side but that actually worked out as I slept soundly. There was a quiet, updated A/C unit which was remote controlled. There was even an elevated outside patio to view the lake. A grill is provided but it is charcoal based so make sure to pack that. Great visit overall. We will be back!
