Welcome to the Little River House -- your slice of riverfront paradise. Located right off Highway 2 just 30 minutes from Stevens Pass Ski Resort, this home in Gold Bar, WA (aka "Gateway to the Cascades") is just minutes from hiking, kayaking, fishing, and so much more. Gaze at the stars from the hot tub or relax in the riverside hammock. Enjoy the brand new deck, fire pit, and outdoor games. We can't wait to share this lovely riverfront mountain retreat with you!

The space
Our 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home can host up to 9 people and is perfect for families or a group of friends. Enjoy the amazing sounds of the rushing Skykomish River and breath taking views of the Cascade Mountains right from the backyard.

Our backyard is equipped with everything you need to maximize the fun — including yard games, corn hole, a horse shoe pit, and ring toss. The backyard also includes a large fire pit (BYO firewood), which is perfect for roasting marshmallows with friends and family. After a long day of skiing or hiking, relax and unwind in our hot tub. In the morning, enjoy a hot coffee from our riverside lounge chairs and wave to the kayakers floating by!

We provide a fully stocked kitchen with everything from pots/pans to spices in order to give you all the comforts of home! You can even make yourself a backyard picnic with our state-of-the-art grill located on our BRAND NEW massive deck. Both the indoor and outdoor dining tables are perfect for the entire group, seating up to 8 people each.

Our master bedroom features 1 queen size bed with a cozy comforter and plenty of throw blankets to make sure you stay warm during ski season! It also features a reading nook with a comfy chair that looks out over the river. Unwind at night with a smart TV equipped with all of your favorite streaming apps.

The second bedroom also features 1 queen bed and a smart TV.

Our 3rd bedroom includes a bunk bed with 1 double bed on the bottom and 1 twin bed on the top.

Our home is equipped with high speed wifi, which is perfect for those working from home or streaming from several devices at once.
Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire home and backyard. Your private paradise awaits!
At this time, although the views are spectacular, there is no path currently down to the river from our backyard. There is access to the river within walking distance (0.2 miles) at Big Eddy Public Water Access.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at the river house , great view , great house , awesome hot tub , good neighborhood , close to some great hikes within driving distance , great fire pit- thanks for the refreshing family time together !

Loved waking up to mountain and river view, loved that the backyard was set up to relax and enjoy for everyone. The adults were able to relax in the hot tub and could keep an eye on the kids making s'mores at the fire pit. The host was amazing at communicating before, during, and even sent a nice "thank you" after. Would definitely stay again, next time we're in the area

Lovely Getaway

We loved having a nice cold winter stay. The hot tub and fire pit kept us really cozy in the cold nights.

Relaxing environment and breathtaking views

The property is located in a quiet neighborhood. The interior is cutely decorated and clean. The backyard is spacious and has an absolutely incredible view of the nearby river and mountains. You can catch the view from the living room, from one of the seats in the backyard, or from the hot tub. My friends and I had a lovely and relaxing weekend. We would recommend the property to anyone.

Wonderful getaway stay

We love this place! The house has everything you need to be comfortable inside, plus the amazing river and scenery outside. Scott was a great host—checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Wonderful rental property

The property was lovely. We enjoyed the view of the river from the backyard. Easy access to Monroe for groceries and making a trip to Leavenworth. The only downside I will point out is that we stayed Sunday through Friday and every weekday at 6 am, a neighbor across the street let their dogs out and seemed to leave for work until around 4:30, and their dogs stayed outside barking most of the day. It unfortunately detracts from the relaxing environment. I know that there isn’t much to be done as it is not the property owners fault, but I am just pointing it out for those who plan to visit and are looking for quiet time.

Wonderful

This was my second time staying here and it was a wonderful as i remembered. You really have the place well stocked. We enjoyed the yard with the sound of the river and the view. The house is so comfortable and we did not want for anything. I will recommend this place to friends for a relaxing stay.

Home away from your home!

Great place to stay for a weekend away. From skiing to hiking, this place is close to both and had everything we needed. Would stay here again in the future!

We were in Gold Bar for a family wedding held nearby and the Little River House was the perfect spot for us. We enjoyed all the amenities of the house and the beautiful view looking out over the river. Magical! Thanks Little River House and Scott!

Perfect Family Base for Wedding @Wallace Falls Lodge

This was a comfortable home surrounded by the beautiful environment. It was a fabulous base for our family of 3 generations. Easy day trip to Leavenworth, quick access to local hikes, property made ease of dinner outside where the whole family could also comfortably play yard games and listen/watch the river.

A great place, clean with modern decorations and amenities

My family loved this place, it has everything you need to take some time off and relax, privacy, BBQ, hot tub and lovely views of the river all were great features. We will rent this place again.

Mother's Day trip

I wanted a short getaway with my son's and this was a beautiful spot, clean quiet home and neighborhood. We even had front row seats for the Aurora Borealis!! The beds were surprisingly comfortable, The furniture and decorations were very cute. Overall this was a wonderful location to spend a few relaxing days.

Wish We Had Stayed Longer!

We had an amazing stay here for a couple of days and could've stayed for a week! The view of the river was beautiful, great hot tub, cozy decor and corn hole! Our favourite part was the fire pit and the dining table to share meals together. Well stocked with essentials and more. We walked to the Big Eddy swim spot which was an 8 min walk with a bit being on the hwy so be careful or just get a day-pass and drive! Truly, we didn't end up leaving the property that much because it was so nice. Would definitely recommended a stay here and will be back!

Great little get-away!

We just wanted a quick little getaway with the teens during winter break. This property really fit the bill! Such a cute place and very comfy. Scott was very communicative during the stay, making sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again. Thanks!

A wonderful relaxing vacation

My husband, 5 kiddos, and I had a wonderful time at the Little River House! We all loved the cute, clean, cozy, well stocked, welcoming home - and the view was amazing! Scott was a terrific host - all communication was friendly, timely, and clear. We went on nearby hikes and enjoyed the river. We hope we can return someday!

Riverfront getaway

Perfect getaway

This little home was a perfect little short retreat for my family and I. The home had everything and more - equipped with games, and plenty of outdoor lounge areas and games. The home vibe was a perfect blend of modern meets rustic. I will definitely keep this place on my revisit list!
