Secluded Hilltop Cottage- Rekindle the 🔥(Hot Tub)

Our cozy, charming cottage is situated on a hilltop in the middle of the woods overlooking Amish farmland.
The location is secluded and private, but still only minutes from town where you will find restaurants, gas stations and a grocery store.
This is the perfect honeymoon suite or place to come to reconnect with your spouse under the stars. The fenced in private backyard oasis includes a hot tub, a fire pit, outdoor fire place and a grill. You will also find Adirondack chairs to relax on. During warmer months we have a hammock and picnic table and chairs for your use.
Inside the cottage is two fireplaces for you to get warm and cozy by, one upstairs and one downstairs.
The brand new kitchen (2022) features an electric stove, microwave and a full refrigerator/freezer. There is also a Kuerig coffee machine with kcups for you to enjoy. The kitchen has plenty of pots, pans, dishes, cups and silverware.
In the bedroom you will find a queen size bed and a corner jacuzzi tub. You also have a standup corner shower and a small vanity and toilet.
The unfinished basement features a fireplace and a love seat and the washer and dryer.
The cottage is under new ownership and management as of June 2022. New Kitchen remodel completed August 2022. Bathroom remodel coming March 2023. We look forward to your visit

Overall, this was an excellent property. There are only two things that I think need changed. The screen door at the entrance slams shut with a very loud bang. And there should be a handrail on the steps to the basement.

This cute cottage is on top of a hill, giving a beautiful front view, but also having a secluded fenced-in back patio. It was very clean; the hot tub was in great shape. We found a cute local place to eat called Olde Willow Tree Cafe that is family-owned and served brunch just a couple miles from the cottage. I’d recommend the cottage for a private getaway!

Great privacy

We would stay here again. It was in a nice location with privacy. The outdoor space was amazing. We did not like that the door to the downstairs area did not lock/shut securely. It was a sliding door. We were able to accommodate for that small issue! It was a nice getaway for our anniversary.

I don’t even know where to start. This Cabin on the Hill checks every box and more than I would ever expect of a getaway vacation. From the moment you pull up the exterior is beautiful. The cabin has a rustic look with every amenity you could ask for. I felt like I was in my own home as far as every time I needed something I open a drawer or a closet and there it was!! I’ve owned a hot tub most of my adult life and this hot tub is the best one I’ve ever been in. I’m a big BBQer and this BBQ is one of the best I’ve ever cooked on. The attention to detail here is incredible. The indoor jacuzzi tub, the shower, the gas fireplace, comfy recliners looking out a huge picture window to a picturesque scenery. And the best thing as soon as I walked in the door a tray of my favorite chocolates!!We will be in this area again soon and my wife is already planning or stay at the Cabin on the Hill!! Thank you, Kevin
