We enjoyed the area the most. The house was adequate but not great, lots of things not well maintained. The driveway is very tricky to navigate.

MY GRANDCHILDREN REALLY ENJOYED THEIR STAY

WE ENJOYED OUR STAY. THE ONLY BIG CONCERNS ARE THE STAIRS AND PARKING; BUT WE MANAGED WITH A LITTLE WORK ; ESPECIALLY FOR OUR SMALL CHILDREN CLIMBING UP THE STAIRS BUT I THINK IT IS US ADULTS THAT WORRY; THE CHILDREN ACTUALLY ENJOYED THE ADVENTURE.

Fawnskin

Very nice property. The driveway is very challenging and there are a lot of stairs. The view of the lake is great and the back hill is also great. We saw three deer on the hill.

Get away to big Bear for our anniversary

Always love going up to the mountains and the wife and I wanted to get away for our anniversaryGot up to the location very easily and was able to check in early, which is always a good thingBeautiful views of big Bear Lake were stunning and very much made the trip worthwhileHowever, the cleanliness issue was Strong and my wife even brought it up to me more in the restroomsA big deal for us is having two rooms because of my snoring issues and the quality of the sleeping quarters, including the beds and pillowsWe don’t understand why the quality of pillows should ever be like we experienced, and for sure, the beds weren’t very new at allCouldn’t wait to have some wine and play some cards out on the balcony, but I needed to clean the table first as it was extremely dirty. See photos below.We absolutely want to come back up to big bear and we’ll probably use your big bear destinations company, but we would not want this unit againDo recommend the Hacienda restaurant; some of the best Mexican food we’ve ever eaten in our livesThe bear trap beer burger joint was also excellentHope this helps; again it was an absolutely beautiful location

The driveway is VERY steep so an elderly couple might have issues parking and maneuvering the steep stairs. It was fine for us. We had an ant issue the first day but the management company was quick to respond. Someone had thrown a bag of scattered trash in the back of the property so management company cleaned that up. The shower handle in the upstairs bathroom was broken so we showered downstairs. The window frames were very dusty / spider webs with dead bugs and we learned very quickly not to leave the outside patio lights on when entering the cabin unless you wanted an invasion of bugs attracted to the lights. We loved the view and the location was perfect for our stay. The kitchen was well supplied and the inside furniture was comfortable. The outside wicker furniture was broken (especially on the upstairs back patio). We would stay again.
