Heaven on Earth! 360 degree Mountain Views from every window in the cabin! Bordering National and Forest Service land on two sides. Stargazing galore! Wildlife habitat! Take any trail you want from the house. Direct access to Strawberry Lake Trail, Jewel Basin and the Alpine Trails. Pack your picnic, and day hike to Strawberry Lake. Ski, snowshoe, hike or bike from anywhere on the 19+ acre property. Can you spot the Jewel Basin Yurt?

Sip your morning coffee while watching the elk venture through the yard, the turkeys trotting, the deer grazing or enjoy the sunset with your afternoon cocktail. Peaceful and quiet for your relaxing stay.

Fully equipped kitchen, with stainless steel appliances. Blackstone grill and outside table with gas burner for s'mores and a place to chat and kick back. Brand new full sized washer/dryer. Please note the road is a forest service road. It is dirt. We are the only house on the road and we do not control the road so sometimes the rain and mountain run off will make it a little rougher. You can make it with a car in the summer and non snow seasons but we recommend 4WD or AWD in the winter.

13 minutes to the renowned Echo Lake Cafe! Best freshly baked muffins in town! Less than 20 minutes to downtown Bigfork for all the fun local shopping and Fieldheads Coffee.

Wow, an AMAZING location! This is a real gem. Not too far from Kalispell and Glacier NP but far from the hustle and bustle in an idyllic, tranquil setting. The views are astounding and we spent lots of time on the spacious deck watching the weather change over the valley below. This home is super well supplied with all the amenities one needs and we particularly loved the Blackstone grill on the front porch. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Lodge in the woods!

My family and I had a wonderful time at this beautiful property! The home is beautiful and the views from the deck are amazing! We would love to visit again some day.

The chalet is beautiful and the views truly are breathtaking. It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the Wi-Fi worked great, and the kitchen was well equipped. We stayed a full week with four adults and two dogs and overall enjoyed our stay.A few things I wish we’d known before booking: the location is quite remote for exploring. Apple Maps showed about 29 minutes to Bigfork and 53 minutes to West Glacier. The access road was also considerably rougher than anticipated. Our large SUV handled it fine, but portions felt more like an off-road/UTV-type road than simply a rough dirt road.The layout was challenging for four adults. Neither bathroom is on the upper level with the primary bedroom, which also had essentially no space to unpack clothing. The upper level stayed quite warm during our August visit despite the AC and fans.We also couldn’t enjoy the beautiful deck much due to a significant number of wasps. Traps were present but not filled.Finally, an issue with the electronic door lock left us unable to secure the house and leave. Communication was slower than we hoped, and we ultimately replaced the lock batteries with four AAs from our own electronics, which resolved it.Overall, it’s a beautiful, clean property with incredible scenery. We’re glad we experienced it, but would choose a different property for our next visit.

Beautifully Secluded

They house was comfortable and well equipped. The host was very accommodating to our group. It is quite aways from things which was both good and bad. All in all we had a great time and thouroughly enjoyed it.

Beautiful location! We loved the house and location. Great views all around and close to bigfork, kalispell, etc. The last mile or so of the road in is bumpy, but very well worth it. The house is just minutes from the strawberry lake trailhead — highly recommended.

We had a great stay and would give the property five stars overall. The home and experience were excellent, but there are a few important things to know before booking.The road leading to the property is gravel, narrow, and has a significant number of potholes. A truck or SUV is strongly recommended. I would not suggest attempting the drive in a sedan. You will also be sharing the road with hikers traveling to and from the Strawberry Lake Trail.The property is very remote, which is part of its appeal, but should plan accordingly. The nearest store and gas station are approximately 20 minutes away, and the drive into town is generally 30 minutes or more.There is also no trash pickup at the property. You are responsible for loading their trash into their vehicle and taking it to a waste management facility approximately 20 minutes away.None of these negatively affected our stay, but they are important to understand in advance. As long as you arrive prepared and have the appropriate vehicle, this is a great place to stay. Beautiful backyard views, very clean and cozy cabin style home with everything you need, and the skies are super dark and stars are beautiful during the night. If you're looking for a remote getaway, this is a place that I would recommend 100%. If you're looking for a place to stay to hike Glacier NP, I would note that staying here will add 30 minutes to your travel time, just something to keep in mind. Unbelievable place!

Stunning property! Home has every attention to detail possible from the way it is built to all the luxury and comforts you would wish for. Location, outdoor space, and view was beyond perfect for our taste. Heather provided excellent hospitality and is very easy to communicate with! Pictures showed bunkbeds so we were a little disappointed in the unexpected change for sleeping arrangements is the only reason for 4 stars on accuracy of online listing. Overall, we couldn't have been happier! Absolutely incredible property and accommodations, along with friendly owners!

Describing it as "amazing" doesn't do it justice

We absolutely love this property! We've been to the Valley multiple times, have stayed multiple places, but this is by far the best we've experienced. The home is beautiful, well furnished and very comfortable. The bed in the master suite is perhaps the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. The view is magnificent. We spent every evening on either the front or back deck watching the sunset. This is the home you're looking for if you want to be "in the mountains" without the hike. It will be the first house I look to book when we return in the fall. Communication with an owner has never been easier.

We had a great stay at the cabin. Beautiful panoramic views and nice living areas! Sitting out on the deck at night was peaceful, there are no neighbors. I will reiterate from another review the cabin is on a road that you need some clearance for possibly depending on weather so take your vehicle into account. We stayed and then visited Glacier. AC units are stand up floor units so the top bedroom was a little warm since we were in the heat of summer. Overall a unique and beautiful place and we would stay again.

Awesome 360 views

If you are looking for a peaceful getaway with breathtaking views then I highly recommend this mountain cabin. It’s a beautiful drive up a winding hill to find the beautifully landscaped cabin at the top of the hill. The inside was very clean and was perfectly decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need. The beds were extremely comfy and cozy. The views were breathtaking and beautiful. We enjoyed the gorgeous sunset on the back deck listening to the wind and with the Mountain View’s. We can’t wait to return next year stay here again.
