Door County Getaway - Right on the Golf Course

Nestled at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac and adjacent to the 14th fairway of Door County's Idlewild Golf course in Sturgeon Bay Wisconsin, you will find a spacious year round home adorned with mature cottonwood, cedar, and apple trees. Spectacular views of deer, turkeys, song birds, fox and eagles are common as you enjoy some peace and tranquility. Relax on one of two sunrise or sunset raised and spacious decks with newer gas grill. Enjoy family and friends with s'mores or wood grilled dinner at the large campfire pit. Bring your boat, jet skis, kayaks with ample parking and public launch access within 2 miles. The area roads are ATV and side by side street legal and Potawatomi State Park is less than a mile away with great biking or hiking.

Unpack and relax on the deck accessible main floor master suite with oversized soaking tub and double sinks. Enjoy the breakfast nook in the kitchen with full cooking amenities including dishwasher regular coffee maker and Keurig coffee maker. The dining room seats 8 and the spacious family room has ample seating to enjoy movies or sports on 40" TV. Golf tee times are available on a first come first serve basis at one of the nicest Door County courses. Oh and yes Wifi Internet access is included in your stay.

What you should being with you:

Personal items like shampoo conditioner and soap, toiletries & hairdryer and personal care items. Power cords for phones, and mobile devices, bug spray & sunscreen's, beach towels, ice and coolers, kayaks, life jackets, fishing poles, hiking gear and golf clubs. Bikes, motorcycle's, ATV's, side buy sides, golf carts and boats.

In case you forgot anything the house is located a short drive from Sturgeon Bay where you will find Target, Walmart and other stores and shops. Many bars and restaurants and small shops are located 10-15 minutes from the house.

Door County Visit

Nice place to stay to visit Door County. Oir group had jeeps so we had plenty of parking for trucks, trailers, and jeeps!

Loved it and can't wait to go back!

The house was so welcoming! It had all the basics stocked. The yard was wonderful for kids to play, the firepit and grill made for a perfect evening, and the kitchen had everything (besides groceries) we needed for delicious home cooked meals. The house was comfortable and the location was great. We can't wait to go back!

Wonderful Week in Door County

The house was perfect for our family vacation. It is deserving of all the great reviews. We all loved sitting around the large dining room table and playing games, making s'mores around the campfire, and bbq'ing on the deck. The house had plenty of room for all of us. The location was perfect and convenient to many activities. We enjoyed playing golf, fishing and boating in the area. We highly recommend this vacation home!

Great option for families!

Space was roomy and comfortable for our family. Space was clean and well stocked with all you could need. Our family really enjoyed our stay. Obviously this isn’t on the beach but many close options so wasn’t a problem for us at all. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect accommodations

We originally tried to stay in a hotel downtown Sturgeon Bay, but found this gem of a place instead. It very comfortably slept 10 of us adults, with a perfect back deck and a firepit setting outside. Although not right downtown, it was an easy distance from Sturgeon Bay and a much better price than staying in hotel rooms.

Wonderful place for a sister retreat!

We really enjoyed staying here. It was spacious, clean, and perfect for a group of sisters wanting to spend time together! We also appreciated the responsiveness of the hosts! One thing we learned (which was not the fault of this property’s owners at all) is that the neighbor lets their dogs run loose. Every time we drove past the neighbors house the dogs ran right up to our cars. Also when we took the trash out the dogs were also out and about. All in all the property was great and we’d highly recommend it. Just watch out for the neighbors dogs.

Comfortable, clean stay

This property is very clean and well stocked, located in a quiet area. Very spacious and comfortable, it accomodated our party of 9 well. Some parts of the house are older, but its very well maintained. The owners were prompt in their responses to me. Overall, a very positive experience for our quick trip!

Fall Getaway

The house was great. Plenty of room for everyone. Way too many air fresheners. We had to tie them in a plastic bag in the laundry room. We arrived later in the night and it was raining. The main porch light was not working, so juggling a flashlight and luggage was a challenge. All in all, great experience. Too bad it was raining and windy, we would have loved to sit by a camp fire.

Great house for 10 guests

Our extended family of 10 really enjoyed our stay at this house. It is well stocked with pretty much everything you'll need. It had all of the kitchen supplies you'll need, as well as a new grill and nice deck with lots of seating. All 10 of us could eat at the inside dining table and play games/do puzzles together. They have a small toy room with fun board games. The master bedroom and bathroom on the main level are huge. While the house is not modern, it's very clean and well furnished. Note that there are three bedrooms upstairs but both bathrooms are downstairs. This was a great house for a good price on Door County!

Great place to stay!

The house was perfect for our group. Plenty of room and very quiet rural area that allowed the kids to play safely outside. Loved the firepit area and the deck which we used often. Kitchen was nicely supplied with the essentials and cooking supplies. We really enjoyed out stay! The owners were quick to respond with questions and work with us on what we needed to make our stay exceptional.

Nice vacation n feeling home place

I’m a detailed person and afraid that I had given too many questions but the host and hostess are very patient and helpful. We really appreciate it.
