Welcome to our waterfront cottage on Lake Huron located on the well sought after beautiful St. Joseph Island! Nestled on the southern end of the Island, this spacious cottage offers a serene getaway for families, couples, or friends seeking a peaceful retreat. With 3 cozy bedrooms and 4 beds, the cottage can accommodate up to 6 guests.

Take a leisurely paddle on the two adult sit on kayaks and one child's kayak, or pedal boat provided, and explore the beautiful waters. Challenge the family to a game of horseshoes, washer toss, cornhole, Yardzee, or Farkle, and in the evenings, relax by the firepit roasting marshmallows. The screened in gazebo next to the deck provides a perfect spot to unwind with a book or simply take in the panoramic views of the lake.

The kitchen is fully equipped for you to prepare meals in and there is a BBQ on the deck to cook meals with also.

St. Joseph Island is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, with ample opportunities for fishing, swimming, hiking, and biking. Explore the Island’s scenic trails.
Come and experience the tranquility and natural beauty of St. Joseph Island!

*Note: We are about 20 mins away from the 2 small towns on the Island and about 50 mins from Sault Ste. Marie.
*Note: Water at beach is a mix of sand and rock. Water shoes are highly recommended for your comfort.

Beautiful cabin

Very clean and everything we needed was right at our fingertips Kinda musty smelling but not a big deal Would definitely rent it again

Cottage stay in Jocelyn Township

This is a beautiful property along the shore of Lake Huron. The owners are clearly very organized and well prepared for visitors. We appreciated all the amenities left for our enjoyment, - paddleboat, kayaks and enough wood for campfires. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to explore St. Joseph Island and surrounding area.

Northern Ontario paradise

We loved everything about this property. Big, spacious and clean with all the amenities and then some. Loved the covered gazebo outside. Beach was Sandy and clean. Property was well maintained outside with plenty of firewood, chairs and fun (kayaks, paddle boat and games). It was all the comforts of home. Awesome!

Our stay

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at this home. We were here for a wedding, it was super convenient. Right down the street from family, the view was spectacular. We even had some deer visit us each morning while we sipped our coffee. The hosts were a delight. So friendly and answered all of our questions. We had a nice welcome note and they made sure our stay was very comfortable. 10/10 we would stay here again for sure! Already planning a summer stay!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!

From finding the cottage on VRBO to the end of our trip, our host Christine was absolutely amazing. The cottage far exceeded our expectations!! Every little detail was thought out. The cottage, the property and the area were beautiful. We have never been anywhere that supplied toilet paper let alone spices, coffee, laundry soap, pet supplies, the list goes on and on and on. The pool table was a great surprise. There wasn’t ANYTHING that wasn’t thought of….kayaks, life jackets, paddle boat, horseshoes, board games, cards, books, 2 cable tvs, and great WIFI (the kids really appreciated that lol). My husband and I, our young adult children and two dogs had an absolutely wonderful time. I actually feel like I know Christine, she is the nicest person I’ve never met! I would not hesitate for a second in recommending Christine and Harry’s cottage to anyone. Thank you Christine and Harry! You are the true meaning of being “The Hostesses With The Mostesses” 💕

We've always loved the St. Joseph Island area, rich in its beauty and history. The view of the water, the stunning landscapes while driving through the country roads, watching wildlife pass by in the yard have made us fall in love with the place.
