Quiet Southend is the perfect description.

Nice location. Window air conditioning units were loud, kitchen outdated (no dishwasher, and no dish drying rack provided).

great location, poor communication about details

The property is basic yet well-maintained and clean. It is located in a peaceful neighborhood where we could leave our bikes outside without any worries. The location is convenient as it is close to the beach and numerous food options. However, we found the information provided on the listing to be insufficient. When we arrived at 7 pm, we discovered that the house did not provide linens and towels. Additionally, there was no hand soap in either the bathroom or the kitchen. Unfortunately, this information was not mentioned on the property listing. Although we later discovered that this is common for the NJ shore, it would have been helpful to know beforehand. Luckily, we were able to make a last-minute trip to a nearby store before it closed to get what we needed for the night and the week. Furthermore, the listing did not mention that the second floor is a separate apartment, and it was unclear if the laundry facilities are shared. Although we tried to connect to the Wifi during our stay, we were unable to do so. Despite reaching out to the owner about the issue, we did not receive the assistance we needed. Overall, the house met our needs for the week. However, we now know to inquire about linens and other amenities when renting elsewhere in the future.

Perfect for Families

We had a great stay, great neighborhood within walking distance to a park. House was clean and had all we needed for a long weekend at the shore.

Disaster

We got unpacked and settled in only to find there was no electricity. After an hour wait for the host to call us back we finally find out they can’t turn the electricity on until the following week. The host did wind up renting us another place but this was an extreme inconvenience.

Quiet Retreat

This home was a wonderful place to stay! The owner was very communicative, answered questions very quickly. Short walk to the beach. Beds/furniture all very comfortable. Beautiful neighborhood too.

Perfect 2 Bedroom South end Location!

This was a perfect two bedroom house for our family of four. We love the quiet south end location, just a couple blocks from the beach and around the corner from the best playground. Also close to the stores on 55th street. The house was spotless and tidy with cute beach decor and everything we needed. Deb was so nice, easy to get in touch with and fast to respond. If you have a small family this house is a great option for you! We hope to be back next summer!
