Charming, renovated 1920s Monteagle cottage for 10, just steps from the Mountain Goat Trail. This stylish retreat features a modern kitchen, two living areas, an electric fireplace, and a fire pit. Perfect for families and hikers exploring Sewanee and South Cumberland State Park. Enjoy the convenience of walking to local coffee shops and restaurants from this ideal mountain getaway.

PLEASE NOTE
Rental Agreement: All guests are required to sign our standard rental agreement prior to their stay to finalize the reservation. This will be sent to you after booking.
Firewood: We provide complimentary firewood for the backyard fire pit.
Grill: A propane gas grill is available for your use on the side deck.

Well appointed and convenient location

This is the third time I’ve stayed here, so that should say a lot. Very well appointed and convenient to hiking and biking trails. Also, just across the street from a great restaurant. Looking forward to our next stay.

Awesome spot!

We had a group of a few couples who stayed there for a wedding in monteagle and it was perfect! Spacious, clean, and plenty of towels and items we needed for a quick weekend trip

Such fun!

We all loved our visit to your precious home. The kitchen was beautifully stocked, and we really enjoyed the cozy robes. The only thing that was missing was live tv so we could watch college basketball.

Hiking trip for girlfriends

The house was wonderful!!! This is our second stay here. We did a bike ride in the fall, and came back in the winter to hike. The house is convenient to everything. Beds are comfortable and house is well stocked. No better place to stay!!

Relaxing and Fun

We have a great time. We were located near so many hiking trails. The house was so clean and had a great yard for our kids to play in. We loved putting puzzles together in the kitchen and cooking meals. We look forward to staying here again.

Excellent in every way. Great location. Extremely well maintained home - fully equipped. Interior space is bright, fresh and well appointed. Plenty of deck space and lawn for dogs to stretch their legs.

Perfect weekend getaway

My bestie and i absolutely loved this place, and can’t wait to come back. It’s definitely worth coming back to, especially since there’s more stuff in the area we want to explore. Also, on top of the perfect coziness of the home, we had the unexpected surprise of seeing a Christmas parade, We had a front row seat and didn’t even have to go outside.

Awesome House

Everything you can imagine you would need away from home. The owners thought of every little detail. Our family gathered for Thanksgiving plenty of room and dishes for a perfect table.

Nice, well-appointed rental

This is a nice, well-kept, well-appointed property. The owners have been thoughtful about their lay out, items for their renters, and ease of use of the property. The check-in and check-out instructions are easy to access and there was nothing difficult about them!

Beautiful home perfect for getaway

From the moment you pull in the driveway you can see all the attention to detail that was put into this home. Fully stocked and very inviting. You truly hate to leave this property. It is very large and accommodates many people comfortably. Recommended to anyone looking to stay in the area, location is perfect!
