This is great place to stay going to the Notre Dame game. Walking distance to campus and all the must see spots. Firepit, hottub were great. Would certainly recommend and return if we are here again

It's a great house right in the middle of South Bend. Everything is basically 5 minutes away from the house. A lot of space in the house, so it's very comfortable including the hot tub out on the deck. It was perfect for what we needed. Thanks Eric!

This was the perfect house for our almost week-long stay in South Bend. It was super close to Notre Dame for baton Nationals. The house was nice and clean! The host was easy to work with. Unfortunately, he was too hot and smokey out this week to enjoy the hot tub and fire pit, but the idea of it was nice and I'm sure in the right weather it adds to the excellence of this location.

Incredible stay in a welcoming home!

Wonderful, welcoming home that served as the perfect gathering spot for me and my 4 children to celebrate my 54th birthday while exploring South Bend and picking up my middle son from Notre Dame for his Fall Break. Great location and accommodations!

Lovely House Close to Campus

Wonderful rental for the area

The home is well stocked in the kitchen has plenty of sleeping space well-maintained inside and outside wonderful hot tub/spa. It’s a very homey and comfortable home. Perfect for a weekend getaway or a special occasion.

Great House

My friends and I had a great, relaxing weekend. This house is super cute and has tons of space! The location is close to everything. We would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was fabulous!!! It was an 11 out of ten. The place was super comfy and spacious. I brought along a lot of things like extra pots and pans, a cutting board, spices, popcorn, sugar and more...but everything I mentioned and more, was already there. When I saw the fruit and vegetable cleaner, that was the ultimate surprise! I can't wait to go back! Everything was great!!!

Great value, peaceful stay

Came to town for a competition. Eric was easy to work with, and responded quickly to questions I had. Property was very clean, and spacious. We really enjoyed the hot tub.

Weekend Visit

Our family was there for a weekend visit for our daughter's graduation. The place was very clean and within driving distance of all of our weekend activities. The one thing I would recommend is to provide toiletries (soap) for guests.

We chose this VRBO for the location, as we were traveling for my husband’s race and wanted to stay somewhere roughly an hour from both the race and Lk. Michigan.We had a nice stay. The host was friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with. The house itself was large and had some nice newer updates and furniture. We especially enjoyed the nice TVs, hot tub, and firepit. We almost always look for a rental with at least one of those features, so having both was a definite plus. We also really appreciate that the property is dog-friendly, as we travel with our two beagles.A few things to note: being in a more urban location, there were some bugs, which is understandable. The hot tub, however, was not as clean as I would have preferred. I personally love when hot tubs are drained, cleaned, and refilled between guests, and I don't believe that was done here. Even simply skimming out the floating leaves and debris would have made a noticeable difference.The firepit was nice, although the photos made the area appear to have a little more space and privacy than it actually did. Also, the upstairs was extremely warm during our stay, so we only used that area one of our three nights. Fortunately, there were other sleeping options in the house, which worked out fine since it was just the 2 of us.We appreciated the location, space, amenities, & dog-friendly policy and had a good stay. With a little more attention to hot tub cleanliness &temperature/comfort upstairs it could

In town for a Wedding

This place was perfect for us. My 2 teenagers and myself had our own space and showers. Short drive to downtown and anywhere we needed to go. The hot tub was a perfect touch. The fire pit looked amazing but we didn’t get a chance to use it. I highly recommend to stay here.

Weekend Getaway

Everything was great, spacious, and located within 30 minutes of what we wanted to do. Just a few minor things, shower downstairs didnt regulate temperature( either off or hot), hot tub took awhile to figure out how to operate, cooking pans were dirty, tried starting the dishwasher and it didnt work. Poor communication

We actually never stayed at the property because we were not given the code to get in. We had called the owner around noon that day and contacted VRBO who messaged the owner. Ended up staying at a hotel.

Disappointed

Was disappointed with the conditions overall. Two air mattresses that did not stay inflated, dishwasher did not operate, there was a hole in the wall in the basement. The water pressure and temp for showers fluctuated even when only one person was showering. Upstairs was extremely hot, even with AC set as low as it could go. Bugs inside, on window sills and in the basement and drawers in the basement.

In Town for Wedding

We were in town for a family wedding. The location was close to the venue (Morris Center for Performing Arts and Palais Royale) The property is much bigger inside than the cover photo shows. There was plenty of room for all of us to have privacy and the teens had their own bathrooms which avoided any drama related to turf wars, haha. The home has a soothing color palette and modern decor and updates. The fire pit in the backyard was a nice feature (pro tip: bring some wood with you if you are driving) We were able to find firewood at a local gas station. The hot tub was clean and hot. Neighbors on both sides were nice and we felt safe. The house and driveway are on a bit of a hill and the street is fairly busy, so just be mindful of that if you have smaller children. The master suite is set up perfectly if you have a baby. There was a pack-and-play and a rocking chair. The kitchen had a high chair and baby gate, as well. The washer and dryer looked fine, although we didn't use them. We are a hockey family and always seem to end up at Notre Dame. We will definitely keep this property in mind for upcoming trips. Eric was a great communicator and the check-in and check-out processes were easy. We really appreciated not having a long to-do list prior to checking out. Thanks for a great stay.
