Important Notice:
* Pool Closure
The pool will be closed from June 2 to June 5, 2025, for maintenance. A discounted rate will be offered during these dates as a courtesy to our guests.

* Nihau Building Discount (Spalling Work)
Special discounted rates are available in the Niihau building from June 23 to July 21, 2025, due to scheduled staircase, walkway, and lanai railing repairs. Work may extend until approximately August 4, 2025, and will take place Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM. Guests can expect some daytime noise or limited access on one side of the building during this period. Discounts apply only to the Niihau building, and rates and timelines will be updated as the project progresses.

This ground floor "get away" vacation home offers stunning oceanfront views and tropical breezes. This is one of the best beachfront spots in Kapa'a on private Waipouli Beach situated on the majestic Coconut Coast of Kaua'i. This studio has everything you'll need for a perfect Garden Isle vacation. Located at the popular Islander on the Beach Resort with an oceanfront swimming pool, hot tub, and Tiki Hut bar, discover for yourself all the fun things to see and do walking distance away. This resort is next door to an open air restaurant and bar, "Lava Lava" featuring live music nightly, great food, and specialty cocktails. There are many more shops and restaurants at the Coconut Marketplace just steps away on the other side of the parking lot. Islander also fronts a beach path for walking/running/cycling that goes for miles!

Suite 151 includes Free wireless internet; Smart TV; high-efficiency Fujitsu A/C plus ceiling fan; CD player with an input jack for playing your digital music; programmable microwave; freezer door fridge (there are ice machines on the property); cutlery drawer with designer flatware; large capacity coffee maker; electric hair dryer, iron, and ironing board. Poolside BBQs are available.

Suite 151's ground floor location (Ni'ihau Bldg) affords the best ocean views and all without stairs to climb. Your oceanfront private patio leads right onto the beach. Get ready for sand between your toes and relaxation for your soul. Many of our guests come back year after year for the breathtaking views and short walks to the waves. Enjoy the many unique features and amenities of Suite 151, you'll have that special feeling of island hospitality called aloha! Spend carefree days exploring the mystical and magical Island of Kaua'i. Dine at one of our recommended establishments or take in a fabulous lu'au at Kilohana and every night you will return to the serenity of 151 and be lulled to sleep by the sound of the surf.

Free parking for our guests. This condo complex is centrally located to many popular island destinations. It's beautifully situated on its own private Waipouli Beach. By car, it's approximately 12 minutes to Lihue airport, 50 minutes to Hanalei, and 45 minutes to Poipu. Kaua'i, the Garden Isle, has so many beautiful sights to take in and Kapa'a is a great starting point for them all.

Important: We are not part of the hotel reservation system, there is no daily room service. You do have use of the common grounds, free parking as our guest, pool, hot tub, and pool bar. This is a privately owned studio that rents for less if you are looking to save money. The unit is cleaned prior to your arrival and stocked with start-up supplies. The studio is cleaned again upon check-out time. If you need new supplies, linens, towels, bed remade and additional spruce up clean, we do offer this additional service for a $70 fee per scheduled day. Please ask if you are interested in this service. If you need to do laundry there are Laundromats only a six to seven minute drive from the property.

*Early check-in and late check-out must be requested in advance. If the Guest does not check out at the designated time there will be a penalty of up to one extra night charge.

*Every Kauai Vision property listed is a NON-SMOKING home; be it inside the unit or outside on the lanai (balcony) or hallways. A designated smoking area outdoors & away from the building. There is a $500 fine for smoking. Any costs to remove the smell or damage of the smoke will either be covered by the guest in violation of this policy.

*Please note that a $200 fee will be applied for the replacement of a lost key.

*Guest will be charged $25 if more than 2 garbage bags are left in the unit and extra cleaning if the unit is left excessively dirty or damaged the unit beyond normal wear and tear.

*IMPORTANT: The standard number of allowed guests is 3. If you wish to add more guests to your trip, there is an extra person fee of $30 per guest beyond the standard allowed guests.

If you think there is a chance you will have to cancel your trip, please consider purchasing trip insurance from the company we recommend (Yonder Insurance) and mention Kauai Vision Rentals sent you. Yonder gives back with every travel insurance policy sold and was started with a social mission in mind. "We will feed a hungry child for a week with every policy purchased." Providing meals for kids in Nepal and Burma. As Yonder grows more meals are provided to these remote places.

Any tax increases requested by the State of Hawaii will be passed along to guests. This privately-owned vacation condo is operated in full compliance with Hawaii law. General Excise and Transient Accommodation taxes are collected and transmitted to the State of Hawaii on all rentals.

Kauai fun

Loved the oceanfront room. We stayed to play in a senior softball tournament and most of the team stayed at Islander. Love the tiki bar and close restaurants.loved the bigger fridge as many rooms have the real small fridge Thank you

Nice location..but

Condo was not exactly what I would have expected for the money we spent for the 7 days. The grounds, pool, pool bar and the ocean view were very nice. The condo was very, very outdated and there was a terrible smell from mildew. The worst was the smell of mildew from the closet. The closet had to be left open so my wife’s clothes didn’t reek. We stayed there a week and we were provided only 2 washcloths and four towels. The bedding was very dingy and overused. I will return to Kauai but won’t take the chance of getting stuck with that type of condo at that location.

Wailua

Loud, horrible foam mattress, no fresh towels, no laundry on site, hard to communicate with anyone, Wailua is not a great place to stay. The beach is small and slopes down. The pool was small, crowded and dirty. The traffic thru Wailua is very congested and almost impossible to get anywhere.

Second Honeymoon!

What a time! 50 steps to the beach! Restaurants and shopping in easy walking distance. The East shore location was perfect for going to the North shore or South shore. We had a blast!
