The Space
This house is a fantastic and unique three-story property. On the first floor, guests will find an impressive living room with high ceilings, a dining area, and a professional chef kitchen. The second mezanine-stlyle floor has a comfortable bedroom with a premium queen bed and a private bathroom. Outside the bedroom is a work area with a desk ideal for business travelers and digital nomads. The third floor is an incredible rooftop terrace with a small outdoor dining table, a BBQ, and neighborhood views. The property has all the comforts of a modern home with stainless steel appliances, air conditioning in the bedroom, an Apple TV, free Wi-Fi, a washer, a drier, and private parking for one car.
Guest Access
The guests will have access to all the unit space: one bedroom, 2.5 bathrooms, full kitchen, living room, dining area, terrace, and private parking. Let us know if you would like to hire a personal chef during your stay for a special dinner or if you need help with transportation or arranging any activities.

Fantastic property in the heart of Barrio Escalante
The photos do not do this place justice. What a beautiful, well equipped kitchen! I appreciated the air conditioning in the bedroom and the lovely rooftop deck. Having a private parking space in this neighborhood is a godsend! We had such a lovely time here.

Modern House in Perfect Location
Traveled from the US to visit Costa Rica for business meetings and to get my daughter settled for her study abroad program. The house is very clean and modern in one of the best locations of San Jose. Barrio Escalante is an upscale area with many restaurants within walking distance of the house. Communication with the owners was good and check-in went fine. House includes off street parking, with a garage door. My vehicle fit fine but I'm not sure a large SUV or truck would fit within that space. Note, the house is adjacent to a train track. That was not an issue for me as I'm an early riser. Overall, excellent property which I would not hesitate to book again and can recommend to other travelers.

Great place to stay.
The stay is completely as advertised. Stylish and modern. Literally right next door is a vegan eatery and two steps beyond that is another eating establishment.
Even if that wasn’t the case Ubereats works well and it’s so close to multiple food places that you have plenty of options.
A train does run but it takes maybe 2-3 seconds to pass so by the time you say I hear the train it has already passed by.
Super secure. Front gate locks, front door locks. Almost has a fortress type security feel to it. No one gets in unless you allow them to.
Has a plethora of eating establishments, many with English menus and or English speaking staff.
The house/stay is nice and is perfect for nomads, singles, a small couple, or those who value privacy and peace.
