Four of went up for a few days of hunting the house was great for what we needed. Price was reasonable and everything we needed was there. We would totslly stay there again with a small group of us.

We had an absolute blast and the house was perfect for my hunting buddies and I. We will definitely be back no complaints here.

Clean and Convenient
Thanks for opening you home to us! It was central to where we needed to be, and the fresh ground coffee was a treat! Everything was clean and comfy!

Sister Getaway
We do an annual sisters trip and stayed here. It was perfect for our needs and highly recommend. Communication was prompt and accommodating.

Goodrich hunting trip
House was clean and access to lots of local PLOTS ground nearby for hunters. Randall was great in getting us access to the house and everything was seamless.

Perfect place to rest and relax. The neighbors were awesome. We met a few and they were all very welcoming. The house is huge, we closed off the doors we didnt use and the basement is being finished. We could control the thermostat which at night made it hot on the house. The window ac we ran all day and night as it was hot during our stay.Randall was prompt on messages and i never tjpught to ask him if he had the thermostat in his control as it is a wifi thermostat.

We arrived to the home after a long day of travel and the home hadn’t been cleaned before our arrival. The last guest had used all towels and all bed linens. The host did send me 200 due to our troubles but it was up to us to clean the sheets/towels. I guess the cleaner went away for thanksgiving but we got stuck with a dirty home. We had no other options as Bismarck is 1hr 10min away and it was 11pm when we arrived…. It was not a good situation and we will not be back next year…. Host was responsive but lives in Virginia.

Hey Kraig, super sorry. This was 100% my fault. We own it as a scheduling failure on our end. As you can see from other reviews this has never happened before so I can confidently say to any reading this review that this will not be your experience.
You definitely are justified in your review, however, not for review sake or even for any financial perspective. I would like to make it up to you. I care more about you having a good experience than I do having the house rented or the income.
You have my number, if you'd like to come back, I hold no grudge for the review (it's accurate) and I would move heaven and earth to insure that you get our very best...at a DEEP discount.

Nice house
The house has a lot of nice updates. Their is a lot of space and feels very open. We did have a issue with the heat. We would turn it up to 70 and it would take hours to get there and as soon as it got to 70 it would drop all the way down again. We checked in at 2 in the afternoon in Nov and it was 41 degrees in the house. It took forever to warm up. The location is great if you don't plan on leaving the house. There are NO stores anywhere nearby so make sure you have all your stuff. The water has a brown tint to it. Their are signs on the walls to warn you and let you know it is healthy and fine to drink. We were just a little thrown off and they supply a filter for you to filter your water if you like. The Bathtub is very deep and would be great for a relaxing bath. All the cupboard are labeled which made it nice when putting dishes away. I think a Brita filter for the fridge water would be a great addition. Would we stay here again? Yes, just not on a holiday weekend and probably not in the winter because of the heat issue. The school is right across the street that is no longer used, but they still have a playground. The town looks a little sketchy but this is probably the nicest house in town. The money made it worth it.

Kryssi, hey thanks so much for leaving a review. I am sorry that I didn't get the heat on before you guys got there. I think the issue is that the heat was set to "away" instead of "home." That again is totally my fault. We have also added two additional electric heaters that help the house warm up much quicker.
McClusky (15 minutes) is still the closest store, unfortunately. The brown tinted water is also something we have a mental block with. We either filter the water or grab bottled water....usually both.
Thanks again for staying with us and for the review. Both are genuinely appreciated. We are also grateful for how clean you left everything. Should you need the house in the future, I'd gladly offer you a discount.

We had nice stay at this property. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. Everything was clean upon arrival. The weather was hot and humid so it did get a little humid in the house, but that is being addressed for future stays. We made a trip to Harvey for meals and supplies and also ate at the Dairy King in Hursfield. Excellent food and cheap. We did bring drinking water as the local water supply has a brown tint to it. It seemed fine for showers and didn't have any issues with our load of laundry. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay.

Very spacious for my husband and I, even after closing off the rooms we didn’t need. Relaxing and peaceful, with super comfy bed. Centrally located to several large fishing lakes. Host was very responsive. Would definitely consider booking again for future trips!
