Large, beautiful apartment house "Silence", 4 storeys, renovated in 2014. In the district of Winkelmatten, 1.2 km from the centre, in a quiet, sunny position. In the house: lift, central heating system. Grocery 600 m, supermarket 1 km, restaurant 300 m, bakery 600 m, 25 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Wiestiboden" 60 m, railway station "Bahnhof Zermatt" 1.2 km. Mountain railway, ski rental 800 m, ski bus stop 60 m, ski school 1 km, children's ski school 1 km. Cabs cannot stop right in front of the house. Please note: Additional accommodations can be booked.
3-room apartment 85 m2 on 3rd floor. Partly renovated in 2018, simple and cosy furnishings: living/dining room with open-hearth fireplace, dining table and cable TV. Exit to the balcony. 1 double bedroom with 2 beds (90 cm, length 200 cm). 1 double bedroom with 2 beds (90 cm, length 200 cm). Small kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, toaster, kettle, freezer, electric coffee machine, raclette grill, fondue Set (cheese)). Bath/WC, shower/WC. Balcony 10 m2, south facing position and west facing position. Balcony furniture. Very beautiful view of Matterhorn. Facilities: hair dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smokers only.

Great apartment in beautiful Zermatt

Great stay but is rather inconvenient having to collect and return keys to a location some distance from the apartment given that you are travelling with all your luggage and shopping as you can’t drive into Zermatt.

L. D. was very professional and friendly. Emails were promptly replied to and very helpful. No place to hang towels in the bathrooms. Strange setup. Add instructions for kitchen appliances.

Excellent Zermatt apartment rental

We rented the Silence in Zermatt while we hiked the area, and our stay was excellent. The checking process was very detailed and straightforward. The apartment was spacious and clean. The kitchen was well equipped. The view of the Matterhorn was excellent. Guests should be aware that the apartment is at the south end of Zermatt. It's about 1.5km and 80m uphill from the town center. Taxis are available at a cost. Also, there are NO washing facilities on the premises. We used the sink but travellers should be aware. An outdoor drying rack is provided.

Clean and quiet with great view

It was hard to get there on foot with heavy luggage because the property was on the hill side and we need to pick up the key at the office near station. It would have been better if someone greet us on the property or the key is in the key box. It was little bit chill at night at the beginning of June, but the heating system has been already shut down and there was only one electric heater for 4 of us with two bedrooms. It was hard to reach out someone to ask one more heater over the weekend and in fact, we didn't get it. The kitchen is very very small and not open to living space with dining table, which we didn't know on the description or the pictures on Vrbo. Also, no washer and dryer!! The apartment is overall clean with plenty of supplies and a great view of Matterhorn.

Das Apartment hat einen grandiosen Blick auf das Matterhorn, einen schönen Balkon und ist gut zu erreichen. Die Bäder und die Küche sind gut ausgestattet. Das Mobiliar ist simpel und in schlechtem Zustand, renoviert wurde offensichtlich schon lange nicht mehr. Im Wohnraum können nur 3 Personen bequem sitzen. Im Skikeller fehlt eine Skischuheizung.

waren zum dritten Mal in dieser Wohnung, va die Ausstattung im Wohnzimmer ist als und abgewohnt, kleiner Tisch beim Sofa defekt und Teile fehlend, diverse Glühbirnen nicht defekt, eine Nachttischlampe fehlt, die Bratpfanne in der Küche ist nicht mehr funktional. Schade, die Wohnung hat eine tolle Lage und Grösse, aber der Infrastruktur dürfte etwas mehr Aufmerksamkeit zukommen.

Die Ferienwohnung liegt sehr schön ruhig am oberen Ende von Zermatt. Der Blick auf das Matterhorn vom Balkon oder vom Esstisch ist wirklich grandios. Bäder und Küche sind neu und modern. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Die Wohnung bietet viel Platz und ist sehr gut ausgestattet.Kleines Manko: Die Heizung ist bis Mitte September abgestellt. Es gibt aber eine mobile Elektroheizung im Wohnzimmer und einen Kamin. Bushaltestelle ist nah beim Haus, wird aber wegen einer Baustelle gerade nicht angefahren. In den Bädern fehlen noch Handtuchhaken und in der Dusche eine Ablage für Duschmittel.

nur wenig fehlt bis "sehr gut" !

- eine sehr schöne Wohnung an hervorragender Lage ! - Kleinigkeiten: es fehlen Ablageflächen im Bad und ein Seifenhalter in der Dusche. - ein Kontrollgang durch die Wohnung vor dem Gästeeintreffen wäre dienlich, dann würde man knarrende Türscharniere feststellen und man könnte mit Schmiermittel Abhilfe schaffen

Appartement bien. Pour le prix malheureusement mal équipé, 3 verres de vin, manque de verres, fuite d'eau sous la cuisine. Appartement pour 4 personnes mais pas assez de vaisselle globalement.

Küche und Bäder renoviert, komfortabel, vier bequeme Betten, Schlafzimmer sehr praktisch eingerichtet, Wohnung hat angenehme Grösse, Mobiliar in Wohnzimmer wirkt wahllos zusammengestellt und es wäre schön, wenn auf Couch/Sessel (eher veraltet) und auch vier Personen angenehm sitzen könnten, so hat es nur Platz für drei.... Küche gut ausgestattet, einige Pfannen solte man aber auswechseln (tiefe Kratzer im Teflon) ruhige Lage, Matterhornblick

Hause silence Zermatt

Logement fonctionnel et offrant une belle vue sur le Cervin depuis le balcon mais pas depuis les chambres. La disposition du mobilier au séjour surprend un peu mais peut s'expliquer. La peinture blanche mériterait un coup de pinceau. Cuisine trop petite (équipement en ordre) si plus de deux personnes adultes. Pour le silence, pourrait aussi proposer mieux et plus respectueux. Donc moyen à passable sans plus. Les salles de bains sont bien fonctionnelles et les chambres de bonne taille.

Majestueux Cervin

Endroit calme, avec une vue magnifique sur le Cervin. Logement très bien équipé et propre. Nombreuses armoires de rangement, très bonne literie, cuisine très fonctionnelle. Accès facile avec bus. Petit bémol pour les salles de bain : manque de supports pour les linges et porte savon dans la douche, mais c'est un détail. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ce logement et le recommandons.
