The second bathroom is in the basement and is a little inconvenient. The house overall was lovely though.

Great Fishing,Beautiful Place

Lovely property,nice stay. We rented a pontoon and fished—the fishing was great! Everything was clean and tidy just as advertised,but the bedrooms could use some blinds or curtains. Minor,really.

If you are seeking a desolate, relaxing cabin in the woods, look no further. A hidden gem off Autumn Rd on the south shores of Leesville Lake. Peaceful, tranquil, serene. Nestled on a hill top surrounded by tall timbers with trails that lead to the lake. My 16 yr old son and his fishing buddies took full advantage of lake shore fishing access all weekend long. Catching everything except the legendary lake Muskie... The cabin had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend in the woods. The one thing I will mention is the very poor cell phone signal...which was GREAT because the boys got off their cell phones and picked up a deck of cards, dominoes, or sat out by the fire pit roasting marshmallows for smores. Disconnect from the world and recharge on the Lake. I definitely plan on staying here again... Thank you!

Very peaceful.

Beautiful cabin in a peaceful place. Definitley remote and a great place to disconnect. Only thing that could be improved would be window coverings in bedrooms. Also the requirement to wash linens was a big ask with a 15 hour drive home. Owners are nice and cabin was very nice.

Beautiful!

Beautiful setting, cabin was Very clean and beautifully decorated. Host was very responsive.Felt very safe, no WiFi but that was fine. Went to get away and relax! Will absolutely be going back!

Would recommend.

The stay was nice and we didnt have any complaints. We had everything we needed. Neighbor's were friendly. Lack of cell service sucks and we were told beforehand but man it doesnt really hit you until you experience it. View is great and is nice being right next to the water for those who like fishing. Even has a trail that goes straight down to the water but that hill is killer.

Memorial Day Weekend Stay

The cabin was very nice, great location. When we arrived, the power was not working and with limited service was tough to reach the owner at some points. Limited toiletries, one roll of paper towel and small hotel type lotions and such in the bathrooms. It’s a good thing we brought most of what we needed for the weekend. Owners were responsive and helpful when issues arose. Don’t

There should have been more toilet paper stored in the downstairs bathroom for you guys. As far as the poor cell service and no WiFi provided none of that was hidden and clearly stated in the listing. As far as the power being out that was a Carroll Electric Company issue which had power off to the entire area for a short while. As far as toiletries go the 2oz travel size description is also stated in the amenities list. I will say one thing I was disappointed about was that your group exceeded the vehicle allowance causing damage to the yard that requires heavy machinery to repair.

Girls weekend

Lovely cabin, walking path located in front of the house. We were all in love with the Sun porch and spent the majority of the time there. The lake was very close and a boat launch was close. While there is smart tv, there is no WiFi provided and the service can be very poor.

The location was great. Walking path down to the lake, not a lot of accessibility to the shore line by foot however. If you are looking to fish would definitely recommend a boat. The cabin was nice, a little dusty though. Had to take down some cob webs when we first arrived. Also the seating isn't super comfy, the kitchen table and chairs were kinda hard to sit in for long so if you plan on playing cards or games or anything in the evening would recommend using the sun porch sitting areas! Also, there were no curtains or blinds in any of the bedrooms which I found kind of off putting. Especially since there are other cabins so close by they can see right into the bedrooms. The firepit area was good but again not a lot of outdoor seating just a picnic table so you may want to BYOC. But there was plenty of firewood! No cell service or wifi so if you need to use a cell phone would recommend brining a hot spot with you! All in all had a nice trip with family. The cabin was large enough to accommodate us all and it was nice and peaceful and quiet.

Hi I’m glad to hear that you guys had a good time! As far as the curtains go we do have blinds on order but we haven’t got them yet. As far as the out door seating goes yes I understand but unfortunately every time we bought new outdoor seats quite a few times yet guests had kept breaking them or walked off with them. So unfortunately we don’t provide chairs anymore (only a giant picnic table that’s not easily moved). I am happy that you guys had a fun stay!

This was the perfect home for visiting family in a nearby town for a family reunion. We had four adults and our pup. Great kitchen set up for morning coffee and then gathering at night. Would recommend for family as there was also a bunk room upstairs with four twin beds for kids!!
