Perfect cozy studio in Pleasant Valley,
NY surrounded by nature. We are located close to beautiful towns such as Millbrook, Rhinebeck, Poughkeepsie, Amenia and Mashomack Polo Club and many fine restaurants.
The studio has plenty of space for you to relax. Antique and artwork details . Kitchen is fully equipped. Our chickens will greet you every morning from the windows.
there is a sofá bed for a third guest.
We have goats, chickens, cats and dogs.

All property is for you to enjoy. You can buy our happy eggs for healthy breakfast. Barbecue area for you by request.
My family and myself will be here to assist you if you need anything.

Woodsey Retreat

I loved the location surrounded by mostly woods and the quiet atmosphere. The hosts are very nice and were very helpful. Everything I needed was inside. I may be back!

Cozy and comfortable stay in Dutchess County.

Make sure to introduce yourselves to goats Bruno and Rocky, they're the sweetest. Really cozy and comfortable studio in quaint Dutchess County. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend.

Clean, peaceful and convenient

Adorable space, responsive host, chickens!

For a woodsy getaway close to real highways, here’s your spot. A good home base for local activities. Cute not chic, clean and functional. Chickens and goats on the property added a great farm with no work charm.

Disturbing noises

In the middle of the night there were disturbing noises in the room behind this studio apartment. It sounded like someone was trying to break through the door into my sleeping space. I left mid-way in between my stay and moved to a hotel.

Quaint rustic farmhouse. Close enough to Marist College for easy access. Owner was responsive when contacted. Most basic necessities are provided.

Cute shabby chic studio out in the country

This is an adorable shabby chic studio, filled with vintage furniture and antiques. The green door is the first floor (basement) of a family home. Appartment has updated stove and fridge. There are chickens and goats on the property, and the chickens will greet you every time you walk out your window! The bath is a little more shabby than chic, and is located in the entryway area. Enjoyable escape from the real world.

My first VRBO stay

Looked cute and handy online, was sort of tidy inside but it’s a run down property overall. We had two main complaints: it was difficult to log into the network because of a password spelling issue. The last email I had from the host who was away, finally gave us the right one, all because of one letter! Our main issue though was that the place was very musty. It was obviously formerly a basement. This is bad for allergy sufferers as well as all your clothes which wind up smelling musty. Goats and chickens were cute.

Weekend

Place is as described. Easy access to all kinds of activities. Our stay was for few nights so that we can ride a portion of the Empire State rail trail. It was quiet area for rest. Chickens & goats were cute. A fan as an option in the room would have made it a bit more comfortable since there is no A/C.

Perfect for my extended weekend

Check in was super easy even though I didn't arrive until close to midnight. Everything was clean and there were tons of pamphlets of things to do in the area if you aren't orginally from here. I did not bring my hair dryer with me and wish there was one available, luckily my hair dries quickly, but if you use one you'll need to bring it with you. Having a kitchen made it easy to cook meals in and avoid spending extra money on eating out. The location was perfect, it is very close to the Taconic that made my commute to and from the airport painless.

Pet allergy sufferers beware

We liked the location and scenery but that’s about it. Place smelled of cat urine, cold ( no temp control), bathroom rugs very dirty and grimy. No iron available, we were told to buy one or get services elsewhere. Host was nice enough but very little attention to guest basic needs. Check in was good but difficult to find in the dark and host not responsive in a timely manner.

Beautiful setting, gracious owners and lots of privacy and solitude. Extremely nice host family introduced us (at our request) to their goats, chickens and dogs, all in spacious pens. We fell in love with their baby goat.

Quiet cottage

The efficiency apartment space was perfect for what we needed. Being surrounded by nature and the sound of bleating goats did not disappoint. We had a great stay!

Lovely studio

The studio was cozy and everything was clean. My girlfriend and I had a blast and the goats are very cute. Location is also excellent for hiking and exploring the Hudson valley.

I am a mother, wife, attorney and a dedicated host. We are a family of eight plus the fur-members, Frank, my husband, three teenagers are off in collage, one still at home and two firecracker girls of 8 and 7 yo, and last but not least our dog, two cats, five goats, two geese and 29 chickens.
My family and I are delightful to share with you, our small paradise. We all work hard to maintain the 4-acre yard. My kids are responsible for the wellbeing of the animals.
