The Bedroom: Outfitted for ultimate comfort with plush bedding, extra blankets, black out curtains,and a quiet cabin atmosphere for a great night sleep.

OPTIONAL ADD-ON SLEEPING SPACES
- SLEEPER SOFA $30.00 PER STAY.
- SECOND BEDROOM-$75.00 PER NIGHT ADD ON FEE.

Seperate sitting area and great room: A cozy nook to read or sip your morning coffee/tea.

The Full Bathroom: Clean, fully stocked with fresh towels, and located right next to the rooms, If you have more than 1 guest the bathroom will be shared with guest(s) only.

Pet policy: "Dogs only" under 25 lbs are allowed with a $20 per day pet fee. I have a very friendly well behaved 20 lb terrier "Dexter" . He will steal your heart if you let him!

Full Kitchen: Fridge/ freezer with filtered water and ice in door dispenser, is availavle to store some of your perishables.
I will have complimentary yogurts, and sparkling water.

Outside areas: Front Porch chair swing and a bench.

Back deck patio seating and yard/garden area with lounge chair.

My stay in this home was truly a delight. Nadine, the host, could not have been more helpful or kind. Thoughtfully decorated and great location. Extra touches really made this a very special stay. Incredible mattress and bedding. I felt comfortable and completely at home. Great Host and value! I will be back!!

Super clean and well kept. Owner lives upstairs and shares well appointed kitchen, patios, porches. There’s a private full bath in the guest wing.The historic cabin is more of a home and is walking distance from town, along a fairly busy road. The fireplace/chimney are awesome.Nadine knows the community well and will provide info on favorite places and activities.Don’t miss the many Britt Festival performances!Make sure you read the directions to the property very closely, as it’s a little tricky to get to parking area. Turn on 8th St, then IMMEDIATELY make a right onto a narrow gravel road to her cabin that parallels E. California St.

Beautiful Gem!

I initially did not read the listing and didn't realize this was a room in a home. I was very apprehensive as I have never shared a space like this before. Nadine welcomed me so warmly and made me feel comfortable in a matter of minutes. She is such a kind and gracious host! The property is stunning, the room was so comfortable and the bed was amazing! I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back! Thank you to Nadine and Nellie! We had a great time!

Amazing First VRBO Experience!!

My husband and I enjoyed our first ever VRBO experience, and let me say...absolutely incredible and memorable experience! Our Host, Nadine, made our stay so inviting and comfortable. We have definitely made a lifelong friend and will be back again! The accommodations were perfect. The bed was a little piece of heaven. It was like sleeping on clouds of comfort and luxury. The whole cabin itself had historical stories in every corner. We were able to enjoy her beautiful property and have evening glasses of wine surrounded by cascading grape vines and serenity. Thank you Nadine! We will see you again very soon!!

Beautiful property and home, but not a private whole-home rental.Nadene has curated a truly beautiful, historic log cabin in a great location just minutes from downtown Jacksonville. However, potential guests should be aware that this is a shared-living arrangement rather than a private whole-house rental. This was not clear in the listing when we booked it, so my partner and I were expecting an exclusive, private retreat, and having frequent interactions in the shared spaces was very unexpected. However, the host has since updated the listing, so as long as you are prepared for that, I think you can enjoy this wonderful home, but if you are booking through Vrbo expecting a completely private, unshared property with full access included, this setup may not be the right fit.
