The Heart of the Valley: Smart Modern Farmhouse

The Heart of the Valley takes it's name after what the city of Turlock represents to the Central Valley, it's heart. I wanted to use this as inspiration to create a home the embodied this. I worked closely with local interior designer, Marísela Rodríguez, to come up with a home design where guest can enjoy the convenience of modern technology while still having that warm, welcoming feeling a farmhouse has to offer.

The space:
The Heart of the Valley is a single story home updated and modernized for the convenience and comfort of today. This includes things you can't even see, like a tankless water heater system and others you can't miss, like the state of the art smart appliances. You can enjoy a movie night (popcorn complimentary) on the large sectional with all of your friends and family or a head to the beautiful backyard for a sizzling BBQ on the Webber grill (charcoal included). This house has so many updates and awesome features to list. You are just going to have to see them for yourself. Looking forward to hosting you! :)

Guest access:
Guest have access to the entire home except for the kitchen pantry and laundry closet used for storage. My goal is for you to feel like this is your home away from home.

Great host.

We had a very comfortable visit to Turlock at this property. The house is beautifully appointed and much larger than we had expected. The garden is particularly lovely. Most importantly, Jerry was so responsive to the particular circumstances of our visit and it was so very much appreciated!

Lovely Home Away From Home

This house was just lovely. We were so pleased to see a beautifully decorated tree and other decorations for Christmas. Part of our family lives in Merced and our granddaughter and son spent one night with us. It was ideal for us and our small fur-baby. Plenty of amenities for a home away from home feel. Jerry was quick to respond and very pleasant with regard to a question about the TV. Would love to stay here again when in the area. Thank you for your hospitality.

Good and enjoyable stay

I really appreciated the way Jerry worked with me on a couple of interests of our group. We had a glitch with one of the appliances. In the long run it didn't impact our stay; just an inconvenience.

Great place

Wow, this place did not disappoint. It was very clean and had to have been recently remodeled everything was so well kept and extremely comfortable. The hoist was very prompt and accommodating. Great area close to everything we needed. We were there for work and it was so much nice than any hotel we could have stayed at. You won’t be disappointed

Beautiful House

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely home which was close to everything. The beds were so comfy, the house was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. It was also so clean. It was perfect and we hope to stay there in the future!

Overall we had a good stay , the house is very nicely redone and updated. Fun park next door with lots of ducks my mom enjoyed watching. Any questions or concerns I had was handled or answered quickly by the owner. Thanks for letting us stay.

A Beautiful Home away from Home.

This property was absolutely wonderful. The home was spotless, kitchen was upgraded to the tee with all the amenities to go along, bathrooms stocked w/toiletries, body and hand towels in each room for each bed, modern bedroom sets for each room. Mattresses so comfy, living room couch just as comfy w/throw blankets. The home was open and spacious for my family and I traveling from SoCal. The home was so welcoming made us feel like it was our home away from home. During our stay the area was going through an excessive heat weave and the host had the home already cooled upon our arrival. 🙏 Jerry our host was prompt, accessible and definitely patient when we reached out to him with the smallest questions or concerns we had even after 9:00pm. The home is right next to freeways, stores, gas stations and eateries. We adored this home so much we wanted to stay longer. lol If you’re lookin for a great home stay and host who communicates. Jerry and his property is the way to go. We will definitely rsvp this property again when we visit our family in the Modesto area. Thank you again Jerry for everything and your beautiful home.

Wonderful House to Stay

We were in town for our son’s wedding at a nearby venue. This house was exactly as shown in the pictures and we had a wonderful time. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed for cooking & baking and feeding a large family. The manager was very easy to communicate with as we had several questions before arriving. The house was very cool as the weather was in the upper 90’s we really appreciated the AC and all of the ceiling fans. I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again.

I was raised in Turlock, CA. I attended Merced College and the State University of Stanislaus and graduated with a degree in Marketing. I have been in Los Angeles for 6+ years but my heart still resides in the town of Turlock and the Valley. I have 10+ years in Property Management experience and 16+ years in the customer service industry. I love making people happy. Short term rentals are my new passion. My biggest reward is meeting people from all over the US, other countries and finding out more about their story. I take a lot of pride in what I do and creating a memorable and wonderful stay for my guests is my ultimate goal. If you stay with me, you will receive the best customer/host experience. :)

It was furnished and decorated by local designer, Mari Rodrigues, based on a modern farmhouse theme. Each bed has a highly rated mattress to make sure you have a great sleep during your stay. Each room will have their very own smart TV so no need to fight over what to watch.
