Our 1876 historic Italianate cream city brick building is the oldest building in the Old World 3rd S. District. Fully renovated! Located on the first floor is the soon to be Connies Cafe with breakfast and coffee. Opening in September 2023.Less than 1 block to the Fiserv Forum. Lots of fun restaurants & bars on our street that run free shuttles to Brewers games. 1/2 block from the Riverwalk. Anticipate an electric, energetic night life.
Our building has huge ceilings and some beautiful original brick walls. There are 2 large bedrooms down the hallway with King Beds. The deck on the back is about 400 square feet and a great spot for hanging out with city lights or people watching during a concert or sports event at the brand new Fiserv Forum. The location could not be better for exploring the many different aspects of Milwaukee, from museums to fine dining to night life. It is a great neighborhood to walk in. If you are headed to The Brewers Stadium or the Summerfest grounds, there are three bars on the street that run shuttles there and back if you merely buy a drink, even a soft drink will do. The staff at the spice shop downstairs is happy to give you advice on what to do, and if you love to cook, you will be in heaven there!
This is a spacious condo with a huge deck on the back. It is up two flights of stairs. There are other tenants in the building but the loft and the 3rd floor back deck are all yours. You may see tenants on the stairs to heading to the unit below yours as we do have another Airbnb on the 2nd floor. There is a permanent tenant in the building so we ask you be respectful of their privacy and noise levels.
You are located in the heart of Old World 3rd street with over 15 restaurants and bars. It is less than a block to the Fiserv Forum and Riverwalk. You cant ask for a better Milwaukee experience and stay than at our Airbnb.
The keys will be in a lock box right next to the down spout next to 1029 door to go up stairs
There are two flight of stairs and no elevator

Extremely clean. Really great location. Theaters, museums, restraunts and bars all within walking distance. Beach, public market and more museums within 10 minutes. We used the shuttle to the Brewers game and it was so worth it. Excellent communication!

Amazing size and location! Comfy beds and great atmosphere. Walked to Summerfest and had a blast. There were Stairs and more stairs (3rd floor). We didn’t mind. We will be back for sure!

The location is fantastic. The unit itself was not as nice as it looked in the pictures. The unit was a little dirty and the bathroom is in dire need of upgrades. A positive note - the beds are extremely comfortable and it was very quiet given the busy location.

Apartment isn’t a great location right next to Maders but it’s pretty rundown. Paint peeling in bathroom, burned out lightbulbs and rundown couch. Hallway carpeting to condo is filthy. Very pricey for the quality. I go to Milwaukee all the time but I won’t stay here again.

Nice spacious condo in great location. Big bedrooms with king size beds. Extra rollout beds and sleeper sofa. Ideal rental for weekend getaway. Would definitely rent again.

Alexia and Jake were great hosts responding promptly when I had any questions or concerns. The location and details were accurate. My family and I visited for a graduation held at the Fiserv forum and it was a very short walk for us. The home had complimentary things that were helpful during our visit such as coffee, paper plates, disposable cups, lotion, shampoo/conditioner, and face wash. The beds were very comfortable. The water can get really hot! The air conditioner cooled us down when we were hot and warmed us when we were cold. I had traveled with a mixed age group - a child as young as 6, my 88 y.o. grandfather and my 62 y.o. mom. Although it was notated that this unit is on the 2nd floor, there were quite too many steps for the elders to go up and down frequently coming in/out of the main entrance. We were also awakened by a few alley fights, disrupting our sleep.

St Patrick’s weekend celebration and Bucks game

Perfect location for our weekend. Lots of food and bars in the area and having the garage a block away was a huge bonus.

I stayed here while attending a conference at the Baird Center, and this place is truly a hidden gem. It’s an easy five-minute walk—just a block and a half from the convention center—making it a convenient alternative to a traditional hotel.The home is bright, spacious, and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and a cozy back deck. The neighborhood is lively, offering plenty of unique restaurants and cafés within walking distance. I’d definitely stay here again!

Perfect location!

We had a wonderful experience at this property! Lexie and Jake were very responsive and the property was very clean! The location is amazing and was so perfect for our girls weekend!

The location is fantastic and very convenient, and the beds were extremely comfortable.Cleanliness and maintenance need attention. The living room rug was very worn and dirty, the refrigerator needed a deep cleaning, and the bathroom had hairs on the shower walls and dried contact lenses on the floor. The shower curtain was musty, and the blinds and air vents were caked with dust. We also encountered fruit flies in the kitchen.There were also burned-out light bulbs and a dishwasher with standing water that would not turn on. I notified the host but did not receive a response.Clearer communication would also help. There were no checkout instructions, (no email prior to check out, and was not provided at check in). Parking should be clearly listed as optional parking for an additional fee, especially since there is no free parking nearby. I asked about parking (and a few other items with no response) when I booked in January but had to reach out again the day before our stay.There were plenty of lotions and supplies, but no body wash, and the supplies could be better organized and tracked of what is needed.Overall, the location and comfortable beds are definite positives, but the property needs some cleaning, maintenance, organization, and better communication. Sometimes it’s the simple things that take a stay from good to over the top. Luckily we were there to just sleep and spend most time exploring the city.

Graduation Weekend

In Milwaukee for my daughter‘s graduation and we had a great time! The location was great… everything was walkable. Out late Friday night so we didn’t notice, but when we made Saturday an earlier night, the rooftop bar next-door was something to be aware of. Yes, we are parents. I’d stay again but I’d bring earplugs. :)

We LOVED this location & the charm of the historic building. Comfortable beds, very large bathroom w/oversized counter. The whole place was spacious. The air conditioner works great and we loved the high ceilings. We appreciated the outdoor deck and parking very much. There is no elevator but we all agreed that the area is so ideal, it's worth climbing the stairs! Walk out the door and there's tons of shops, restaurants and bars. Not just places to eat, but so many of Milwaukee'a favorites! Lots of outdoor tables & dining. The hardest part was deciding which place to go! (We did our best to try them all!!) If you want a lively neighborhood, this condo is perfect. So close to the Riverwalk that we walked it every day.We are already planning on returning.
We found the couches very comfortable. The decor was inviting and fun.

Daughter 20th birthday - Summerfest

We took our daughter and a friend to see a favorite band at summerfest. Condo was clean, cute, spacious and in a great location. 1.5 miles to summerfest. Easy in and out. When my daughter’s friend needed to drive separately, Lexie was fantastic about letting us get the garage door opener ahead of checkin. The extra $ for the garage was well worth it. Highly recommend. Walked to a cute coffee shop this morning and then drove over to the public market a mile away. Has been a lovely little overnight trip for my daughter’s 20th. Thx Lexie for a great place to stay.

Location: GreatSeveral fun restaurants and activities are within walking distance. You can even catch free shuttles to Summerfest, ball games, and other activities.Condo: Nice bedrooms with comfortable beds and pillows; large bathroom; the kitchen had what we needed. Note: to turn on the shower, the diverter is the spout of the faucet (pull it down).The floor slopes considerably to the south. The walk up to the third floor is a decent climb; with the high ceilings, it is more than a standard three-floor walk. The hallway/staircase is a little beat up.The living room furniture is a bit worn out, especially the sofa (you'll sink -- not in a good way). The daybed was much more comfortable for lounging about after a long day.The unit could use some updates and minor repairs, as stated in other reviews (damaged caulking, floor boards don't meet, dryer barely works).Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the beds are comfortable. Thankfully, we brought 9-inch fans to drown out some of the noise from the neighboring bars. We loved being able to walk downstairs and choose from a handful of fun places to eat.
