No Go Bathroom
My wife booked this place for me… I needed to be here for about eight days because I came for a funeral. I was in and out a lot… Mostly out with family. The place was really quiet, except for the daytime where you can hear everything that’s happening upstairs above you. Sometimes when I come in late at night from family meetings about the funeral… My parking spot would be taken and it’s not easy to find another parking. I can’t just park on the street… I have to park like a half a mile or more and then walk to the area. I would have to say that it’s really nice inside. The bed is a king size bed, and very comfy… I’ve never had a memory foam bed before, so this is new me yet comfortable! The little kitchen area is really nice as well… New appliance, as well as countertops. Fridge was clean. This place had hard wood flooring. Those were the pros of the place. The cons are… Parking was hard at times. There is no curtain where the bedroom is, so you can’t keep it dark if you’re sleeping a little later in the morning time to the afternoon. The biggest problem with this place is the bathroom. It is so small and very uncomfortable. When you sit on the toilet, your feet dangles down and can’t really touch the floor. Your knees hit the sink area. The shower area is so small. I wish they would redo the bathroom to make it more comfortable because if you really can’t sit on the toilet. There is not enough towels. There was a dirty sponge underneath the sink. There’s also a dirty, toilet brush… I was trying to clean the place before leaving. The vent that lets the air out from the bathroom was really dirty. I don’t think these guys actually get the corners wall sweeping or mopping because there’s a lot of dust buildup and hair buildup. I wish I had a swiffer with a hardwood flooring… A swiffer would be better to sweep the area since it doesn’t let dust go up in the air. I wish they had a soap, hand pump outside where the sink it is as well instead of just the bathroom sink since you can’t really fit inside the wash your hands in the bathroom sink you have to bring the soap back outside so you can wash your hands properly plus there are paper towels outside. Other than that… This place did the job for me of what I needed… Just a place to sleep and rest and grieve while being there for a funeral.
