FEATURING OUR LUXURIOUS 7,500 sq foot Log Home & Lodge that comfortably sleeps 19 Featuring 7 Bedrooms and 4 Baths.

WE ALSO FEATURE OUR Newly Renovated Rustic Cabin which sleeps an additional 10 Featuring 3 Bedrooms , 1 bath, living room , kitchen, 3 season porch walking out to a large wrap around deck with southern exposure. (*Available for additional nightly fee. Please feel free to inquire by message.*)

THE LODGE
1st Floor Features :

1 HUGE Master suite & bathroom with whirlpool tub.
2 Other large Bedrooms
1 full bath that is handicap accessible
1 Large state of the art Kitchen with all the amenities including stainless steel appliances, 7 burner ceramic top range, dual ovens, warmer, dishwasher, microwave, nascos , griddles, coffee pots. All dinnerware, cookware, bakeware, paper ware provided.
3 charcoal grills and a huge gas grill with cooking utensils are provided also. All you need is to provide the charcoal. Catering Available upon request, check with the manager.

Relax in our beautiful Great Room enjoying the 30 foot vaulted ceilings while taking in the beauty of the hand painted walls that will leave you in awe and with a surprise.

Enjoy a meal with all of your family and friends around our 16 foot Amish made dining room table.

Walk out onto two large wrap around decks and enjoy the beauty of a fully stocked pond while observing the abundance of wildlife such as our white tailed deer.

Lower Level Features:

Exposure to the great outdoors ! Exit at ground level and enjoy the patio while you overlook the pond and the deer area.
Enjoy access to our pond (excluding during the rut) as you have fun partaking in our catch and release fish program in the fully stocked pond which includes giant bluegills, perch, walleyes, crappies, large mouth bass and catfish. Enjoy the catching as our pet deer surround you. You may also want to enjoy the pond by sunning yourself on our aqua patio, or paddle around in our paddle boat, or row around in our row boat. Maybe you would rather jump into our 25' x 43" above ground pool. Anyway you want to enjoy it ... It's an AMAZING EXPERIENCE FOR ALL! (Children must be accompanied by an adult in the pond area at all times and shoes must be worn).

Total beds between our Lodge and Cabin are 18 with 1 additional sleeper/sofa and several Inflatable Mattresses.
We can sleep 29 in beds. Accommodations can be made for additional guests. Campers, tents, additional inflatable mattresses are welcome. Please discuss details with our manager.

Please take a look at our calendar for available dates and contact our manager for the best deals for that day! There is no further reason to be cramped into a little resort, lodge, motel or hotel room, etc. We have so much space here that there are virtually no boundaries for making memorable memories. We look forward to meeting you and providing you with an exceptional stay.

Also keep in mind we are located approximately 20 minutes from Wisconsin Dells and the famous Wisconsin Dells Waterparks! This getaway retreat is a perfect dream getaway!

Great Nature Getaway

The property was a great place for a large family of all ages. Plenty to keep everyone busy. The deer are amazing to watch and see up close. Fishing was great. We would definitely come here again.

Our family had many memory making moments

We had a big family extended weekend vacation for the first time ever, and the lodge worked perfectly for the space and bedrooms provided. We had some issues with the AC but a repairman came out that day and fixed the problem. We had great and prompt communication all the time regarding any issues or questions we had about anything. Having the deer so nearby to watch nature right in front of us was amazing. There is incredible landscape on the other side of the deer pasture that one would never know existed. It's just stunning. The kids caught a couple catch and release fish which was fun for them. The weather cooperated for the most part and everyone had a really good time!!! A very fun family vacation!!!

Perfect property for a big family reunion

This property was amazing. The lodge is spacious with a wonderful back deck where we spent lots of time watching deer, bison, Canadian geese and sandhill cranes. We even saw a bald eagle. Family members entertained themselves swimming in the pool, playing volleyball and fishing in an adjacent pond. They also took advantage of some of the endless entertainment opportunities nearby, including hiking, a river float and a river cruise. The owner and manager were extremely accommodating to special requests. All 33 family members would highly recommend this property.

Anniversary and Birthday Celebration

The lodge was perfect for our family celebration. We had enough bedrooms with the addition of the cabin to accommodate all of the couples. There was space for everyone to spread out and relax. The deer were so fun to watch and entertained us all day. Having the pond on site was great fishing and super for the novice in our group. The kitchen was well equipped and we were able to cook and eat all together. If you are want peace and quiet, this is the place. We were a little farther away from the Dells but we're from larger cities so driving to activities wasn't a problem. Plenty of space for all our cars and trailers of toys! Thanks for letting us stay. We have special memories forever.

Family vacation

Our group whose ages ranged from 2-78 enjoyed family time at the lodge. We enjoyed the pool, volleyball court, paddle boat, deck and especially watching the deer. We were disappointed in the cleanliness and state of repair .

Highly Recommend

This was our second time staying in this vacation home with our family. We highly recommend this place. Fishing, swimming, and lots of outdoor space for activities. Close enough to Wis Dells if you choose. Lots of games, including a pool table in the lower level that kept the kids entertained. We could watch wildlife right off the deck which included geese, cranes, bison, and deer. Very relaxing property to hang out.

Good cabin, close to the Dells

Lots to do here to escape! Fishing, watching the deer, swimming pool, hot tub and sand volleyball Court. Plus indoor activities as pool table, cards etc. Not a bad drive to the Dells if you want to go there for activities. We didn’t have many issues but the owners were very responsive to the ones we did have. Would stay here again! Great spot for our large family!

So much to experience!

There was soooo much to do on this property. We enjoyed the paddle boat, canoe and row boat on the pond. We caught bluegills, bass, catfish and perch. The animal life around you is amazing! We were surrounded by huge bucks, does and fawns. There are 5 bison on the property and a pair of Sandhill Cranes named Hank and Ernie. The pool is large and clean. We swam multiple times. There is a brand new jacuzzi. We cooked over the fire pit. All of this and close to the Dells as well. The owners were super responsive to any questions or needs. This was the best VRBO I have booked! We had so much fun!

Bob was amazing. Best hospitality.

It was a great stay. Kids loved to watch the deers and bucks. Bob took us to a forest trip into his 2 all terrain cars. It was a lot of fun.

Great place to unplug

We had a group of 24 people and Arlene was more than accommodating and communicative. There are lots of things to do like volleyball, hot tub, fishing, grilling, fire pit, boating, tour of the grounds, and even feeding deer. Very spacious for our big group. This is a place to unplug as you will get very low cell service and the wifi only works in the living room. A couple things to note are that the drinking water source is from a well so if you are not comfortable with that, bring your own water bottles. Also the pool is not heated. Also it wasn’t a concern for us but just take note that there is A LOT of taxidermy in the house, a little more than the pictures. Other than that, it was a great time, there was a pool table and poker table which we played at night. We enjoyed our stay at Deer Haven!

Great family vacation home

Very rustic and fun. Many things to do and space to enjoy. The entire family had a great time. It just went way too fast. The property owners were amazing too and very accommodating.

Bachelor/Bachelorette Weekend

Deer Haven was an absolute perfect place to host our joint bachelor/bachelorette cabin weekend! The property exceeded our expectations, stocked with all of the kitchen amenities you could need, as well as towels, firewood, playing cards, coffee, the things you would expect to maybe pack for yourself. There was a set of deck lights we couldn't find the switch for and I texted Arlene and she had someone come over to turn them on for us. Excellent communication on the owners' part and we will definitely be planning our next stay! The drive into the Dells is about 30 mins but you're far out enough to enjoy some privacy and the starry/stormy nights were incredible!!

Great space for all

We had multiple families, ages 10-78 stay for a long weekend. Bob and Arlene were great to work with. They answered all our questions pre-stay and went above and beyond to help out during our stay, including taking a tire to get repaired when one of our cars had a flat. The lodge has so much room for large groups for both sleeping and relaxing. The kids enjoyed paddle boating and canoeing, as well as the hot tub and pool. There is plenty to do within a half hour drive if you need something other than that peace of the property.

Had a wonderful time!

We had our family reunion here. Owners couldn’t have been easier to work with and property was very clean. We spent each evening watching the deer come by to feed. Lots of space and golf nearby. Kids had a blast in the pool and volleyball court.

It was a quiet and peaceful property. We had a large family reunion. There was lots of space for everyone and lots to do on the property.

Great place for a family trip!

We did our first extended family trip at Deer Haven and it was a blast. Our group had 10 adults and 8 kids (ranging from 1.5-12). I was a little nervous that with that many kids in one home, we would all go a little stir crazy but it never reached that point. The home itself is perfectly set up for large groups, with 2 bedrooms on each floor. It's also solidly built so it minimizes noise between the floors which is ideal. There were SO many activities for all ages and everything was well stocked (kitchen cooking needs, pool towels, life jackets, outdoor seating, firewood). Bob and Arlene were great! Super responsive and dropping by periodically to feed the deer and check in with us. There were some staff that were tending to the property and they were also very friendly and generous - even taking some of our group out to feed the deer. This is quite a unique property with so much land and space. It was a great place for our group. I particularly loved the multiple balconies that overlooked the pond and deer pen. Beautiful scenery and incredibly restful to sit outside and listen to all the sounds of nature. We ended up spending a lot of time at the pond, using the paddle boat and canoe and fishing. The pool and hot tub were also great but the pond was the main attraction for the kids! We also ended up going to the Dells a few times - it's about a half hour drive. It was great to have that option for more activities with kids and to get out of the house. If you're looking for a rustic retreat that's not too far from touristy attractions, this is it!

Anderson family get together

Beautiful home, spacious. With 9 adults and and 15 children we never felt cramped. Kids and adults enjoyed game room when weather wasn’t quite cooperative. We all enjoyed the hot tub. Kids had fun fishing in the pond. A wonderful way to spend a weekend together and be under a single roof. Memories made will stay with us forever. Thank you, you have no idea what this special time to be together meant to me.
