Relax with the whole family on a multi-acre lake lot in the heart of Gwinnett. Located minutes from Stone Mountain, this renovated fishing cabin allows for 5 to sleep comfortably while looking over the 6 acre Lake Edwards West. Wake up early and enjoy a cup of coffee while you fish from sun up to sun down, watching the turtles and blue heron basking by the lake. A playground is available for the kiddos and a fire-pit can be used during burn season. Private drive and multi-car parking accessible.

Just the absolute perfect place to go and take a break for a bit. Located in a quiet area, with a beautiful view of a pond in back yard this was just what needed to get away!

What a cozy little cabin! Courtney was very attentive and helpful. The cabin and property were so welcoming. It was perfect for a weekend trip.

We had a truly amazing vacation! Being able to finish the day by coming back to this cozy little place made the whole trip so much more wonderful!! The beds are soft and the couches are comfortable! Our host was kind and helpful and we got to meet one of their amazing dogs! We had the best time!

We enjoyed the ambience and the cabin feel of the Baitshack. We loved the listening and dancing to the record player. Also, the space heater was fantastic on one of the cold nights! 10/10 would recommend.

The bait shack was peaceful and quite. Lake to fish on was nice. The shack had stocked essentials if we forgot something. The wifi was easy to connect. The hosts were very easy to talk to and nice. We would stay there again.

Relaxing getaway

We can't thank the hosts enough for working with us on our trip schedule as we were recovering from Milton. Property was quiet, clean and cozy--easy access to Atlanta and other tourist spots. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Everything was just awesome, Praise God! we travelled across the world from Australia, getting in tired, and the cabin was lit up with the AC running cool for us on arrival. Just the peace of heaven we needed after no bed for 30hrs. Everything is just as described, most affordable and best environment! Can't believe this wasn't booked out when we needed it. Our son accidentally overcooked his food in the powerful microwave, and being honest, we advised the owner immediately of the incident which caused a smell and necessitated opening of windows immediately. There was no mess and the air cleared quickly, but Courtney appreciated our honesty and was not fussed, assuring us straightaway of the quick clean up she'd do when we checked out. Perfect home and perfect host! We couldn't ask for more. Also checkout was not a long list of 'must do' as some homes are, meaning the host did most of the tidy up for us. So grateful Courtney, you made our trip an enjoyable one. Can't thank you enough!! We'd love to stay again if we can (we won't let son use the microwave though!)

Quite relaxing refreshing stay

Enjoyed staying at the Bait Shack. Convenient for are trip to Stone Mountain. Caught some bass in the lake.

I would just like to say that this was way better than we expected!!!! We had the best time at this little cabin! It is so amazing to me that it is so quaint, quiet and peaceful yet only minutes from downtown Atlanta. We were able to eat out at very good restaurants in the area. We went to the Georgia aquarium. And we enjoyed the canoe tremendously. We caught probably 35 fish total in 3 days. It was just a wonderful getaway!!!! And the hostess is absolutely incredible. She was very communicative and provided everything that we needed. I just love how quaint it is and it was so incredibly clean. Thank you again, Courtney, for sharing your place. We absolutely had an amazing spring break!!!

Great getaway

We came up from Tampa Fl to see Sturgil Simpson in concert in Duluth Ga and stayed 4 nights. Place was very peaceful and quiet. Nice lake and couldn't have asked for better weather. Would definitely go back again.

Bait shack

Comfortabe, quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Host definitely has their guest in mind with this place. We slept well there and left feeling well rested. Very memorable!

Quick Getaway

We chose this cabin for our son's birthday weekend. It was quiet and you were minutes from town, but felt very private. Less than 45 minutes away from the Georgia Aquarium.

Wonderful stay

The cabin is spacious, clean and cozy has everything you needed from snacks , equipped kitchen. The details and decor for this cabin is so adorable , all collectable miniature on the shelf is impressive.The surrounding also beautiful with greenery and lake. Convenience parking right at the door step. Love this place
