Great place.

Very clean and the owners are very organized. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Small children will love the one bedroom we thought it was great. The location is perfect, away from town but only minutes to get there. We recommend it to anyone.

Wonderful!

We really enjoyed our stay! Such a cute house in beautiful Bedford county! We attended the fall foliage festival, as we have been for years, and decided to give this house a try. It was stocked with everything we needed, it was very clean and maintained, and we absolutely loved relaxing in the hot tub and having a fire at night. Would definitely stay again!

Book Group Trip

The property is clean and comfortable. The furniture is comfortable, and the kitchen is well equipped. Our only concern was the stairway to the second floor, which was difficult to manage going into and out of the children's bedroom.

What a fantastic place!

This was hands down the best vacation rental I have ever stayed at. The house was beautiful, had plenty of space, and so many amenities--the hosts went above and beyond to make sure your stay was wonderful. Little touches, like providing toothbrushes if you forgot them, doggy poop bags, etc. etc. The outdoor space is so wonderful with the fire pit and hot tub. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect Rental in the Bedford Area

I stayed at the Whispering Pines Retreat with a co-worker while doing some work in the Bedford area for the weekend. It was a perfect place to retreat after long nights of working and one of the few places in Bedford with a hot tub! The house was beautiful inside and out, meticulously maintained. We could not have had a better experience and would definitely stay here again.

Golf tournament get away

Without any hesitation, this is by far among the best properties I have rented. The owners have created a haven in the rural mountains of central PA to enjoy family and friends. There is literally something for everyone provided: reading nooks, indoor and outdoor games, tv's galore, hot tub, fire pit, and an awesome coffee bar! The owners have spared no expense in the linens and towels and the beds are comfortable. My golf buddies and I can't wait to rebook for next year's tournament!

GIRLS TRIP!

Four friends celebrating a 50th birthday...This property is amazing! It is beautifully decorated and has everything you would need for a perfect stay. One of the nicest touches was nice, simple white robes for time out at the immaculate hot tub and fire pit. Wood was provided as well! We would recommend this property! A 12 on a scale of 1-10!

Great stay at Whispering Pines!

Whispering Pines has it all! It is decorated so nicely. Its homey feel made our stay so comfortable. The host was super responsive and the house is fully stocked with all the ameninities. We enjoyed the firepit and hot tub. We cant to wait to come back and we recommend Whispering Pines to all.

Fully furnished with all that you need

This property really had everything that you would need. It was like stepping into someone’s house not just a rental. From kitchen appliances to extra blankets and pillows. You can tell this host thought of it all. Thanks for a great weekend!

Your family will love being together here.

Lovely and comfortable home for family fun and memory making. The hosts thought of everything guests would need. The kitchen is wonderful. We also enjoyed the campfire ring and could see so many stars in the clear night skies! Beautiful countryside surroundings but also close to the town of Bedford with many quaint shops. We enjoyed touring Old Bedford Village, too.

Girls Weekend

Perfect for our weekend. Nicely accommodated and close to town. Appliances were top of the line. Loved the firepit. Hopefully the fireplace will be operational should we book again.

Nice fall weekend

The home had so many thoughtful details, it contributed to a wonderful weekend shared with good friends. No more than 10 minutes to town or Bedford Springs, but still a real country feel. Nice outside amenities including firepit, adirondaks, hot tub. Great communication with owners, we would definately do again.

A perfect weekend getaway for all ages

We absolutely loved our stay at Whispering Pines Retreat and hope to return one day! This was a gift to our parents (70+) to spend time together with our five children. The home was beautiful and has more amenities than we were able to use at the time! The items provided for use were exceptional as well, it was nice not to worry to bring towels, paper plates, etc. We aren’t coffee drinkers, but I know that would have been appreciated by many. My kids are still talking about the “Wilderness” room that they were eager to retreat to after a day of exploring. The games, tv accessibility, etc. were nice as well since we had a stormy evening. I couldn’t praise this property, and the owners, more highly!

Great Property

We were very impressed with this property - convenient to Bedford, clean, comfortable beds, and seating areas inside and out. A great place to gather as a family and be able to explore the Bedford area. Would certainly stay here again!

Nice place for peace and quiet.

There was just two of us and we found it very nice. Had everything we needed. Disappointed that the weather didn’t cooperate as we would have loved to use hot tub. Added bonus was bird watching both out back and on the front door. Sorry we forgot to sign the guest book.

Perfect friend getaway!!

From the moment I booked this house Deseree and Kelly were amazing. They responded to every message I sent within the hour. The house was breathtaking, and the decor was fresh and calming. You can tell that Deseree is a host who wants to take care of her guests with all the extra touches. We are best friends who met over 10 years ago down in South Florida. We both love traveling with our families and have traveled together many times but with 9 kids between us, we have always used Airbnb to find homes that accommodate us all and have everything we need to make the stay comfortable for everyone in our group. This is where we got the idea to open an Airbnb together. When Kelly and her husband moved to Bedford, Pa. my family came out to visit right away and fell in love with the area. We still reside in South Florida so we absolutely love coming back and enjoying the peaceful pace Bedford offers but really like being so close to so many different amazing places to visit. Our families have put a lot of thought and love into making Whispering Pines Retreat a place that we hope everyone that comes will enjoy as much as we do. We are both available to answer your questions and Kelly, along with her husband, are just a few minutes down the road if you need anything during your stay with us.
