This is a great place for a true escape. It’s at least 20 minutes from a grocery store/restaurants. Very serene and the stars at night are absolutely incredible. It’s a Dark Sky area, so just be careful if you are driving after dark. Our daughter got married at the nearby Merrimon Estate, so location for us was perfect. We also planned our days for being in Beaufort, NC. The Maritime Museum there is a great place to visit if you like history. The Blue Moon Bistro was great and so was Beaufort Grocery and Finz.

We had a great stay at this beach house. The kids loved being able to get in the water and swim, it was a great spot for our family vacation! House was very clean and exactly as pictured, very cute house and property. would love to stay again in the future.

Great spot for family vacation!

We LOVED this home! It was very comfortable and clean and it had a great view! We brought our own boat and enjoyed fishing and cruising to nearby towns. We hope to return to this home again!

The home has an amazing view of the water. It’s was very clean and homey. Host was extremely helpful and responds in a timely manner. Highly recommended this home.

This was the perfect place for a girls trip! Relaxing with beautiful views. Would also be perfect to take grandson to fish off the dock. We got to meet the neighbors dogs, which was a bonus since we were missing our pups. Loved the house, trees, screened in porch, and water views. Highly recommend!

Perfect location! Feels like a friends house not a rental. Everything you need and more. Owner is very responsive before and during your stay. We will definitely come back.

Awesome property, gorgeous view of the waterway, quiet location. Everything we were looking for. I will truly miss having my morning coffee on the screened porch watching the birds, squirrels, and listening to the movement of the water. Communication with the Host was a major plus. We really hated leaving.

Absolutely loved our time at this beautiful home. A tropical storm was off the coast so we almost rescheduled for another weekend. Due to logistics we decided to just stick with the original plan and we are so glad we did! House was very clean, stocked with everything we needed, and just a gorgeous location. Even in the rain, we fished, enjoyed the screened in porch, and even popped to downtown Beaufort shops and restaurants. Perfect relaxing weekend for 3 couples celebrating anniversaries sans kids. We can’t wait to bring our families back again.

Beautiful home on the river! Couldn't have asked for anything more! Spectacular sunsets and peace and quiet evenings on the back porch overlooking the water. The interior of the home is beautiful and has all the amenities you need. Downtown Beaufort is a short 30 minute drive. Had an excellent night of fishing as well! Owners were very responsive with any questions I had. In all a great relaxing vacation. Did not want to leave.

This Property is a Gem!

Gorgeous home with a spectacular view! We enjoyed daily visits from Gus (the adorable puppy from next door who came over to visit every morning for belly rubs), fishing, kayaking, naps on the hammock, an incredible 4th of July fireworks show from the private dock, gorgeous sunsets, all our meals on the screened-in porch, my daughter loved playing the piano, and we all loved just catching up on some much needed rest & relaxation in a beautiful and heavenly setting. Homeowners were very friendly and accommodating. Would love to stay here again!

The perfect place to get away and relax

Everything about this property was exactly what we were looking for. It’s secluded enough to be quiet and close enough to things that you can run to store or go on adventures. All of the amenities were very nice, the kitchen is well appointed, the beds and sitting areas were extremely comfortable, and communication with the host was outstanding. We will definitely plan to visit again. I can’t rave enough about views during the day and the night sounds from the water that you experience while sitting on the screened porch. It’s the perfect getaway!

Tranquility

Arriving at dusk made this home look simply majestic between the maintained landscape and gorgeous sunset. Upon entering, we found the home had everything we could ask for plus more. Our stay left is wanting more and thinking of when we could return. The condition of the home furnishings down to the comprehensiveness of the kitchen utensils, made the stay smooth for our family ranging from 3 years to 40+. Our only challenge was coordinating our eating with the required travel time since everything seems to be 40 minutes away. Next time, we’ll stay in and cook; and be that much more at peace! I couldn’t speak higher of this rental and all it offers. It is simply defined as perfect.

Absolute perfection!

This was one of the most amazing properties we have ever rented! The communication and information with the owner was complete and Tracey was available if we needed her. The house was beautiful! Exactly as described, but better at the same time. But the most amazing part of this property is the outside/location! Stunning river views, peaceful and quiet, and a great screened porch to enjoy it all! Even the hammock played nice and didn’t flip us out! In full disclosure, this property seems a bit far off the beaten path when “going to the beach”, but in reality you are only 15-20 min from the beautiful Beaufort waterfront. This is exactly what our crew was looking for. I can’t recommend this property enough!
