Great location

Property offers the perfect location for enjoying downtown Missoula. It's a couple blocks from the busiest spots so walking distance to everything but still quiet.

What a great property! My family came to town to celebrate my son’s college graduation. What a perfect location. So close to The University and all the local downtown nightlife. First Time in Missoula

Wow! This property exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked into this historic home we were met with all modern amenities plus the furnishings and character that brought out the charm of this beautiful property. The beds were very comfortable. Both the upstairs and downstairs bathrooms were tastefully done in tile with walk in showers. Well stocked towels and linens. The kitchen, like the rest of the home was vintage appropriate with all modern appliances. The living room had a 70 something inch big screen TV with Wi-Fi that you can run all your streaming apps. This home is located right in the heart of Missoula's Hip Strip as the locals call it. All shops and restaurants are in walking distance of this beautiful property. There is also a trail close by for a lovely Riverwalk that I recommend taking during your stay. Finally, our host Wynne, was so accommodating. Our email inquiries were answered promptly. Wynne is a property owner that made our first time using VRBO a very positive experience. We will definitely use this service over and over again. Thank you, Wynne

Great for downtown access

Beautiful house that is truly in the heart of downtown. Very clean and well kept. Super easy and beautiful walk to Grizzly stadium. Be aware you are right on Front street and there is a hamburger stand and restaurants adjacent to the house so be ready for street noise at night.

Quick Trip

The home was beautiful and conveniently located downtown. I was able to book on a Monday for the same week, one night stay. We attended a concert at The Wilma and it was only a 2 block walk away!

Great Location!

The Magpie is in a perfect location to walk downtown Missoula. It had plenty of seating and was very clean and cared for. There were 4 of us, and just wished there had been a few more towels and maybe one unlocked cabinet in the kitchen to store things. Overall a great property for a short getaway.

An experience to remember on Front St!

This home and it’s contents are a true work of art. We very much enjoyed the art and furniture, the built-ins and large windows… and the CHICKENS! This place is brimming with life. Everything is at your fingertips and right outside your door. Even the coffeemaker was cool.

Terrific location

This historic house is nestled right downtown, meaning you just step out the front door and you're on your way to restaurants, brew pubs, bookstores and more. That made for a pleasant stroll in a lovely city to discover those little shops and pathways you'd never find if parked in a hotel outside of the core. There's no better way to get acquainted with Missoula.

We had such a lovely time at The Magpie!! Smack dab in the middle of everything, we enjoyed walking all over the downtown area all weekend. Wynne was so helpful and responsive and check in/check out was easy breezy. Can’t speak more highly of our time here!

Perfect in every respect!

We could not have asked for a better vacation rental to spend our time in Missoula. The house is truly a gem, from the outside appearance to the interior furnishings to the unbeatable location. We did not have a need for a vehicle whatsoever, with shops, restaurants, the university and trails all within walking distance. We can’t wait to return!
