This is my beautiful home on Lake Oconee. The 0.6 acre wooded lot magnifies the great outdoors surrounding this 2 bedroom, 2 bath retreat from the world. Tucked away in a private cove it features a big water view just right around the point from Sugar Creek Marina. Relax by the fire pit on the hill or take off from your dock to enjoy the great water of Lake Oconee. Canoe available or dock your own boat. Electricity available on the dock. You will be surrounded by nature and woods. Three friendly outdoor neighborhood cats may come to visit. Your own pet is also welcome. The open floor plan has the great room attached to the kitchen filled with new appliances and plenty of cabinet space. Beyond the great room is an outdoor porch with ceiling and open deck overlooking the water. Bathe leisurely in the antique claw foot tub upstairs or choose the downstairs shower. Two bedrooms sleep four and you can climb the ladder to the bonus room to sleep two more. TVs with Roku are ready to watch in the living room and queen bedroom. Fire TV in the full bedroom. Get ready to spend your time on the lake!

Great Stay

The house was perfect for our stay. Everything we needed was there and the house has great views of the lake. The back deck is huge and is an awesome spot for everyone to hang out and relax. We are already making plans to visit Lake Oconee and stay with Karen again.

Tranquility

Enjoyed the view of the lake, Awesome host provided everything we could have possibly needed for our stay. The cabin looks just like photos, the furniture was comfy. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend of peace and quiet. Thanks so much for providing such a lovely place to getaway. Highly Recommend!

Cozy comfort

We love this house. We stayed while remodeling our home and it provided everything we needed. So cozy and the lake is so beautiful!The hostess was the best we have ever had! She is thoughtful and caring. I highly recommend!

Perfect Getaway

We were able to have the most peaceful weekend and take in the best views. It was even better than the pictures and had everything we needed plus… I can’t say enough about coffee in the covered porch!

Amazing Host and Lovely Property

This was exactly what we needed after having to evacuate our home thanks to Hurricane Helene. It was a perfect little hideaway that had damn near everything thought of already set up. The owner was amazing through the process and I would definitely Stay there again.

Great Place to Relax

Weekend at the lake

We loved this house! The setting was so lovely, there was a great view of the lake plus wonderful shade trees and the covered deck was amazing! The owner did an amazing job at stocking the place - she thought of everything which made it feel like home! We will be back!

Great lake getaway

It was our second time staying here and we enjoyed it so much both times. They have everything you need. Plus, we brought our boat and could easily put in at the ramp down the road and keep it at the dock.

Stairs

No master on 1st floor and very steep stairs to the 2nd floor other than that it was wonderful. The deck was my favorite spot. Very quiet and peaceful. It was my 84th birthday!

Loved the natural serenity of the property

My husband and I, along way with our two adult daughters, enjoyed the property’s natural serenity. It’s difficult to align our schedules and we are so glad this spot was available. The home is so quaintly and comfortably furnished. A few things we forgot were supplied—toothbrush, soap, butter and loved the Keurig green tea and hot chocolate. Pleasant surprises. The home’s peaceful location and just-right size is what we’re seeking for ourselves soon but until we find our own happy hideaway, we will probably visit this one again and again.

Nice Getaway

We had a guys fishing trip and this was perfect! The extra little touches throughout the cottage were great! Snacks, water, detergent to name a few. We really enjoyed hanging out on the back porch! The boat dock was excellent as well- we were able to charge our batteries on the boat while we relaxed! Planning our trip again for next year!!

Relaxing lake view.

The location was amazing! Owner was awesome and the home had lots of nice touches: snacks, waters and coffee/creamer. The home was super cool set up but does need some upgrades. It was clean and very comfortable.

Lake Oconee Wedding

Beautiful bungalow and you can walk out the back door and you are on the Lake. The Wedding venue was 5 mins away.

Wonderful Host

Great location on the water. Right across from Sugar Creek Marina. Host had a great welcome document that addressed just about any questions you might have. The host was also very accommodating and quick to reply to my messages.

Lovely Lake Oconee Getaway

Very cute house on Lake Oconee! Was in town for a wedding in Greensboro which was about 20-25 minutes away, very easy drive. We loved being directly on the lake and having access to it, great views and very nice porch setup. The cats were on the porch most of the time we were there and were very sweet and friendly. A lot of very nice, small unexpected touches, such as having S'mores items available which we took advantage of with the fire pit, and water bottles and snacks also available. The owner was also very friendly and responsive, responded very quickly to all my messages, and worked with me for an early check in which was needed due to the wedding time, as well as when we needed to stop back by after checking out because we accidentally left something. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a little getaway on the lake!

Perfect little spot for a weekend

We drove up from Florida for a game weekend and instead of dealing with crowds or Atlanta, we picked this spot and it was perfect! Just me and my two boys. We loved the lake and the cats. Beautiful view and the area off the dock was safe for the kids to play and swim. House was immaculately clean. We will be back!

Wonderful time

As in past stays every thing was wonderful. The place was thoughtfully equipped to make our stay enjoyable. She continues to update the home. We had no problem in docking our boat. We hope to return.
