A great, relaxing stay!

Perfectly located for quick trips around the city, we loved our stay! It was so quiet and relaxing. The hosts were so kind and gracious!

What a fantastic property! Great view and everything in the house is just as advertised. We had a number of opportunities to communicate with Jobst and he answered quickly and clearly. He and his family live in the adjacent apartment (or in "US terminology" I would call it a duplex) and he came over to show us something when we weren't sure about something. Highly recommend. Thanks so much for a great stay and recommendations.

Luzern visit

Location was good with bus stop just down the street. We rode the bus into town which was nice. Enjoyed the view from the sitting area in the backyard.

Everything from booking to leaving was perfect. The host was always checking in to see if we needed anything and was very helpful with suggestions on things to see and places to eat.

Family Trip

Perfect house for our family trip, clean, great location with wonderful view from the back patio/yard. Easy walking trails and grocery stores near by. Lucerne downtown 10mins by auto.

Beautiful

Such a nice comfy apartment for this family of four! The view from the apartment was amazing! Lucerne was a great launching point for all of our adventures.! Jobst and Sabrina were very responsive!

World Hockey Championships U18 for Team Canada

We stayed at the property for the hockey tournament in Zug. The property was beyond what like the pictures showed and had everything we needed and wanted. Very clean- beautiful views and a perfect spot! Would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Beautiful views great location

We really enjoyed our stay in Meggen, great location for lots of family friendly hikes and access to lake swimming. The house was good the owners were very helpful letting us check in abit early which was very kind. One thing to note the 3rd bedroom was in the basement which we didn't realise, and coming from Australia where basements aren't common, none of us felt comfortable sleeping down there, but there was an extra bed on the landing upstairs which was very comfy so we all had our own space as planned which was good. Very sad to leave after a lovely stay!

Everything as advertised

The property was very clean, a short drive to Lucerne, and the view was beautiful. Plenty of space; family of four, and was set up well if traveling with infants; changing table, child gate. The photos are accurate; no surprises.

Home Away From Home

Fabulous location overlooking Lake Lucerne & the mountains. Very close to the city of Lucerne & within east reach of shops in Meggen. Access to excellent walks minutes from the property. Very clean & well-equipped kitchen & Laundry facilities with three great sized bedrooms & a fourth double bed available as well. Two lovely family bathrooms. Extremely comfortable. Couldn’t find any faults. We had a wonderful stay & hosts were very accommodating.

Beautiful View!

Absolutely wonderful home. 2 bathroom rentals can be hard to find. This one is perfect for friends traveling together. The house is located right next to a bus stop with frequent & convenient service to the city. Washer/Dryer in the basement are nice for an extended stay. The host lives next door making communication easy. My only negative is that stairs to the downstairs bathroom will deliver a reminder should you forget to duck. Tall people beware. Overall a wonderful stay. I'd pick this place again.

This is a Hidden Gem

I don't think listing does justice to how perfect the location is of this property. Its 15 minutes from downtown Lucerne, 4 to 10 minites from serveral Coop stores and 12 minutes from other fast food places, 5 minutes from a nice sit down restaurant and I could go on. Jobst and Sabrina are wonderful people and were amazing in every step of the way. They both checked up on us and made sure we had a great stay. They provided a little booklet with all the instructions and places to go and eat but very relatable, short and helpful. The views from the property are incredible. Right outside of livingroom you can see Mount Rigi. The backyard is also pretty. There is a small park right across the street and it was delight for my children. The bus stop is right there maybe 1 minute walk from front door. We had rented a car and just parked outside on the street and it was not a hassle at all. This is a truly hidden gem and definitely under marketed.

Emplacement pratique, bus à proximité ainsi que les balades, petit parc pour les enfants. Logement bien équipé. Pour le jardin, on a été déçu par rapport à notre réservation du mois d'avril. En effet, sur l'annonce figurait une photo d’ un jardin de bonne taille comme on peut le voir sur Google map. Hors en aout, celui-ci est réduit de moitié par une piscine, qui se trouve à cheval sur les deux propriétés mitoyennes et l’on peut être gêné par l'utilisation de celle-ci lorsque l’on est attablé sur la terrasse. Il fallait le préciser pour les prochains locataires.

Very nice house, beautiful view of the lake. Has a lot, if not all small amenities you'd like already present like towels and other bathroom things, electricity socket converters, wifi, kitchen appliances and tools. They even set up a bed for our newborn upon request.Host(s) replied quickly to questions and were very friendly.

Meggen ist eine Reise wert

Wir hatten als Familie einen sehr schönen Urlaub in Meggen. Die Gegend ist wirklich wunderschön und sehr sehenswert.Luzern ist wirklich sehr schnell erreichbar. Bushaltestelle quasi vor der Haustür.Gerne wieder.

Gemütlich und waldnah

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen genossen. Das Haus, mit herrlichem Ausblick in die Sennen, eignet sich genau perfekt für Naturfreund:innen, denn man kann stundenlang im ruhigen Wald spazieren. Das Haus ist etwas älter, aber man hat alles, was man braucht, und die nächste Bushaltestelle ist in unmittelbarer Nähe. Der Gastgeber antwortet schnell auf Mails.

Tolles Ferienhaus in guter Lage

Wir hatten eine schöne Urlaubswoche als Familie mit 2 Hunden. Die Vermieter wohnen nebenan und sind sehr freundlich. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Die Umgebung ist traumhaft. Wir können es sehr empfehlen.

Tolles Ferienhaus in traumhafter Umgebung

Wir verbrachten zu fünft ein wunderschönes, verlängertes Wochenende in diesem idealen Feriendomizil. Die Terrasse bietet eine einmalige Kulisse, das Haus ist super sauber und sehr durchdacht eingerichtet. In der Küche fehlt es an nichts, es gibt auch ein Starterset an Lebensmitteln ( z. B. Tee, Kaffee, Zucker, Essig, Öl...) Das Haus ist sehr gut geeignet als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge zu Highlights am See und in die Umgebung, nicht zu vergessen sind diverse idyllische Badeplätze. Da wir fünf Räder dabei hatten, haben Sabrina und Jobst uns spontan eine Garage zur Verfügung gestellt. Danke nochmal dafür. Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.
