Spacious & Quiet 5 beds, 3.5 bathroom home away from home in Katy, Texas

My wife Johanna & I are moving about 20 minutes away to be closer to family. This has been our home since 2018 and has blessed us with many memories. Hopefully, your family will be blessed too!

The location has quick access to Katy, the Energy Corridor, and Houston via I-10, and is situated between I-99/Grand Parkway, I-8/Beltway 8, and Highway 6.

It's a perfect place to stay for a relaxing getaway, visiting for business, or if visiting someone in the many nearby hospitals.

Please note: large parties are prohibited by the HOA and will result in the termination of your rental agreement and your immediate eviction without refund.

Nest camera incorporated into front doorbell, in front yard, over the HVAC/Gas Line/Pool Filter equipment, and in back garage area where cars are parked (inside garage is off limits to guests).

All cameras are for safety of our guests and property.

There are NO cameras inside or with a view of the backyard or pool.

Wonderful host, beautiful neighborhood with everything within few minutes drive. Beautiful home with lots of rooms, bathrooms with a beautiful backyard and a nice pool. A home away from home.

Our stay in Katy was great! Doug’s house is conveniently located near shopping and has easy access to the freeway.Doug was super accommodating and communicative. The pool was wonderful to cool off in on the hot summer days/nights. The AC worked its tail off and kept the house a comfortable temperature. Items to improve: there were no pool towels and only just enough bath towels for each guest, making it tricky to manage washing/drying towels in between swimming and bathing; the king bed only had 2 little pillows; the sheets are pilling, so a refresh would be nice on those; a couple more bowls in the kitchen.Overall the house was clean. It looked like the cleaners started cleaning the master bed/bath and became distracted. The toilet wasn’t cleaned all the way and there was dirt on the shower wall that easily washed away when I noticed it upon my first shower. The master bed didn’t seem finished either. The decorative pillows were in the closet along with 2 king size pillows (there were no covers so I bought some).The water in the kitchen came out scalding hot. Doug was having a plumber come look at it. One of the master bath sinks was stuck closed. Doug offered to have someone come while we were there, but it wasn’t that big a deal so we passed. I would definitely stay here again if I’m back in Houston. The house is in a safe neighborhood with storybook charm. It is older and showing its age, but was a great place to hang out & come home to at the end of the day.

Katy trip

Very nice quiet street. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again. Owner is very responsive.

Home away from home

My family of 12 had a great time for the 4th of July. Home had everything we needed for our stay. Beds could be more comfy but we made it work. Loved that it had 5 bedrooms enough for everyone. Would book again!

Perfect getaway

The house was really clean and homey, its in a great and quiet location. Property owners was real nice and always checking on us, making sure we didn't need anything. They provided more then enough supplies in the home to make our stay comfortable! Will definitely rent again!

Nice Home

The home was in a nice quiet location, the location is close to stores but not to close where there’s traffic, also close to the freeway. Home was comfortable & had necessities needed for children

Lovely and cozy home

When we walked in the house looked very welcoming and clean, smelled fresh. Temperature was just right and they provided very comfortable accommodations such as water, coffee, toiletries, towels and extra linens just as a hotel stay. Very pleased with the pool and kid area in the backyard, we had a wonderful time celebrating my daughters bday here and we look forward to recommending to our family and friends. Overall felt like home away from home 😊

Very Nice home for Family Reunion

We rented this home for a weekend family reunion because of the location and the pool. Both were perfect. The house had 5 bedrooms with comfortable beds. It met our needs and we had a great time, but the house is very worn and needs some love. The furniture was very minimal and bare bones, but we had a place to sleep so I can't really complain. Kitchen supplies were very limited, but we didn't cook a meal, so that was ok with us too. There was a toddler bed, crib and other baby stuff which we didn't need, but would be nice for a family with a baby. Best part was the pool which was very clean and refreshing with lots of floaties. We would stay here again because of the location, pool and number of beds.

Great host. House is on the older side with great character. Awesome location. Loved the pool. Super nice neighborhood. Definitely booking again next time we’re in town.

Super kind and attentive host. Very prompt if we had questions. The pool & bug maintenance companies check in/check the pool. Large house with character. Very nice, clean & safe area with lots of charm. Everything is close. Houston also has some of the very malls, but specially for today.

It's one of the older neighborhoods in Katy with lots of fully grown trees. Many stores within walking distance or a very short drive. Nestled right between Katy and Houston's Energy Corridor.
