Welcome to “Sunset Haus”!

Come stay at our wonderfully renovated home right on Lake Conroe! With convenient lakefront access just a step away and a large boat dock, bring your boat or jet ski and have a blast! Feel free to use our water mat, kayak, and paddle boards during your stay, to get the most out of your lake experience! Swimming in the open water right off our dock is convenient and easy. Rack ‘em up and shoot some pool while taking in views of the lake. We have TONS of seating for all of our guests, including room for 10 on our couch and at our dining table! Watch movies at night or your favorite sports team on our 65” 4K television, and we even have a Netflix account setup and ready for you to enjoy!

We provide bath towels and linens for all beds, as well as a some laundry pods, dishwasher pods, coffee k-cups, toilet paper, and paper towels. (Enough to last 2-3 days). We also have a fully furnished kitchen (pots, pans, dishes, glasses, appliances). The entire home is accessible to our guests via contactless entry.

We are always just a text or call away! We are easily accessible through VRBO but we also provide our guests with our personal contact information. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have questions during your stay.

Come stay with us, soak up the sun, and get away from the busy world for a while. We’d love to host you at our home on the lake!

We are a dog friendly home, so please feel free to bring a furry friend along! We allow 1 dog, weighing 50lb or less. We do have a pet fee of $75 (per dog) so please add the pet to your reservation and the fee will automatically be added as well.

If there are certain items we might be able to get for you ahead of time to make your stay more comfortable, please let us know and we will do our best! We try to respond very quickly and will answer any questions you might have.

We do require our guests to sign a rental agreement, which we will send for electronic signature after booking. However, a draft agreement is attached to this listing for review before booking.

Disclosures: We do have two security cameras located on the outside of the home - one on the front porch and one on the back porch. There are no cameras or recording devices inside the home.

The garage and boat slips are not part of this listing and access is not permitted. However, there is plenty of room to dock your boat during your stay.

This property had plenty of room for our group. It was comfortable and had the amenities needed. The pool table area was an extra benefit. The owner was really good at keeping in contact and communicating information and responsive to messages. The canal area was nice and added a relaxing feel to the property. I would return to this property.

Absolutely perfect

Family and i stayed for my wedding then it was just me and my husband for after. We all loved it and talked about coming back in the summer. I left a fishing pole so hopefully anyone who stays here in the future will be able to use it there. Cant wait to come back!

Great Match for Family Needs

This property met our family’s needs exceptionally well. Our grandkids very much enjoyed the pool table, kayak, and paddle boards. They also did a little fishing. The kitchen, dining room, living room, sleep arrangements, and bathrooms all fit our needs. We also used the outside grill and fire pit. Property manager was always quick to respond to questions.

Fabulous

Our family so enjoyed our stay over Thanksgiving week. The house was perfect and exactly as shown. It was stocked well and super clean. The kids enjoyed the games and my nephews loved fishing and caught some fish. We would definitely stay again!

Amazing lake getaway...

This was the perfect lakefront property for an extended weekend vacation with family and friends. Plenty of room for guests, a well-appointed kitchen, large dining area for the group, and a great outdoor area to enjoy the lake with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The kayaks in stand-up paddle boards were a great way to get on the water along with a large covered dock perfect for fishing and swimming in a quiet cove.

Perfect location

The day after we got there a tropical storm hit so we lost power. We managed and made the best of it. Every restaurant, store and gas station was closed due to no power. Lake was closed also. So message property manager and ask for refund he was awesome and helped us out. Home is wonderful and comfortable. It’s clean but it really needs a deep cleaning.

My daughters and I had a great time together! The house was clean, with perfect layout, very well furnished, full of kitchen utensils and new appliances. It has a great pool table, kayak and paddle boards. It was an awesome weekend! The host is very nice and answer messages really quick. We will definately be back! Thank you, Sam!

Beautiful Home in a great location

This property was perfect for our family - Could have even accomodated another family as well. It was clean, kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable, Family room was perfect for gathering after a great day on the lake, and the location was just what we needed.

Very enjoyable stay!

Quiet neighborhood. Plenty of beds; spacious kitchen, dining, living room. Updated and very clean. Backyard adjacent to lake. Covered patio and dock. The host was very responsive and friendly. Excellent choice!

Wedding Weekend

We rented this property to be closer to our son’s wedding venue. Husband and sons love to fish, so had them something to do in the very little downtime we had in between wedding prep and the wedding itself. Brand new boat house, very nice and accommodations were perfect for our crew! Thanks Sam and Fam for opening up your home to us it was great!

Family Fishing Trip

Right on the lake

The house was beautiful but the beds are very hard and the bed in the master is really high. But over all we had a great time.

Great stay, great host

Stayed 3 nights for our daughters birthday. The process from start to finish was easy. Sam sent timely and informational messages. House was very comfortable for the 7 of us. Overall, it was a great stay and I would go back.

Lake House that has it all!!

The place was great! Good location for swimming, right out the back door & we’ll as docking your boat. Quiet neighborhood. Had 3 families from grandparents to grandchildren (11 ppl) & we never felt like we were on top of each other. The paddle boards & kayak were used by everyone, lots of fun. The house was very well stocked with everything (all soaps & detergent, shampoos & conditioners, coffee pods, trash bags, towels etc. We had plenty of whatever was needed supplied by the owners - a first & very well the only owners that were more than generous. Inquired about a blender & charcoal for the grill, they didn’t have either BUT ordered both & they were waiting there when we arrived. Clean - everything was! Inside & out. Enjoyed sitting on the back porch watching the birds & storms roll in. An absolutely wonderful place to book a family vacation!!!!!

Perfect family get away

The property is just as advertised. You walk into a light and bright clean home. Everything we needed was there. The view of the lake quite astounding. The kids loved playing on the paddle boards and canoe. I would definitely go back there for a repeat stay and very well may! Sam is an awesome host. He responds very quickly and answers all questions and makes suggestions. He went out of his way to send me pictures of where we could safely dock a rental boat we rented. It worked out very well. There is really nothing bad i can say about this vacation rental. Thanks Sam for everything. Vickie Modeland

Relaxing and quiet

Everything from check in to check out was awesome! House was just as pictured and stocked with everything you need. Beds are super comfortable. In a quiet neighborhood. Paddle boards and swimming mat made for a perfect time in the water with our kiddos. Stores close by to the house. Owners were very attentive and made sure we knew if we needed anything at all they were there. I liked the fact that they supplied many life jackets and a highchair and playpen, less things you have to pack if your traveling with a baby. We stayed here with 5 adults and 4 children and there was plenty of room for all of us without feeling cramped. If we are ever in the area again we will definatly be back.

Super Clean

This home was lovely and is even more charming in person than in the photos. It was well equipped with everything we needed. Tucked in a quiet neighborhood. I also very much appreciated the cleanliness of the home.

Definitely coming back

We decided on a whim to have a mini family reunion and this home was perfect. The owner, Sam, was a joy to work with and he helped facilitate our needs seamlessly. The home had everything we could have wanted. The beds were HEAVEN, they were so comfortable. And the sunsets were beautiful. Looking forward to staying here again.

Being from Houston, we often visited Lake Conroe growing up, whether it was for fishing, boating, watersports, or anything else. We knew that if we ever had the chance to own a home on the lake, that it would also be a great experience for our kids as well!

Our home is thoughtfully decorated and furnished to provide a relaxing atmosphere for you to unwind and relax! The water is only steps away for a quick swim, or to cast a line in the water. We have a large boat dock, big enough to dock several boats to! We have free high-speed wifi and free Netflix included with your stay and we provide everything from towels to soaps and shampoo!
