This home was built in late 1800's, but has since been meticulously updated. Wake up with a coffee and lake view each morning. End your day grilling on the back patio. This home is sure to meet all your short term living needs!

Clean, well-equipped kitchen and easy-to-use grill.Cozy living room with smart TV and LED fireplace and good internet made for a nice place to relax after adventuresLocation is great: good view, quiet neighborhood, multiple grocery options nearby, and easy access to the Iron Ore Heritage TrailHouse was comfortable in both hot and cold weatherHost responded quickly to questions and requestsOnly complaint is that when people are parked in the neighboring property it can be hard to get your car out of the parking spot.

We were happy to be able to bring our dog with us on our trip. The home was as described. It is older, with some updates, like the upstairs bathroom. The upstairs bedroom has an A/C unit, but that was the only room. Thankfully it wasn't too hot during our stay. The host was very good about communicating with us.

Pleasant home in a beautiful setting. We kayaked on the nearby lake and enjoyed some of the nearby attractions.

Bestie Trip

The house meet every need that we had. We weren't there long enough to really have anything to complain about. We were out exploring the UP. The only thing I would say is just stay on top of the lawn. I know he said they mow on Tuesdays but it needed tons or weeding done. Also some of the wooden stairs were lose and that could cause someone to get hurt. The home was really warm when we got there but the bedroom was cooled by a portable AC unit. Which was fine and we were able to sleep comfortably. Other than that, the place was great. I would totally stay there again.

Clean and cozy!

The house was clean and cozy, and had everything that we needed to have an enjoyable stay - a fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities and room enough so that four of us weren't on top of each other. The AC in the bedroom as greatly appreciated on the warm days when we were there! Taylor was a wonderful host and provided very good information on the property and the amenities. Nice place and we'll stay again if the opportunity presents itself.

A Haven on Hazel

This house is cozy and beautifully updated. Comfy beds, great shower and well-appointed kitchen. Taylor is a great host and very responsive. We will definitely stay here again!

Excellent property

I travel for work and need a location close to the hospital. This property was perfect. Host was able to set me up last minute and was easy-going and easy to communicate with. Would absolutely recommend and hope to be able to stay in the future.

Cozy home

Listing reflected the property very accurately. The host was quick to respond to questions. The house was clean, and the heating is amazing - the entire house was very warm and cozy despite the winter outside.

Nice clean cottage with great location.

Really enjoyed this clean cozy cottage. Short walk to Ishpeming and close to many hiking spots and Marquette.

Great little up north getaway

My husband and I and our small dog stayed here for a weekend. Perfect size. Good location for exploring - Marquette and places to hike.

Great place in a great location

Very nice little place tucked in a quiet area. Easy to get to, but not in a busy section of town. Very clean and had all the things it said it would. I would stay again without hesitation.

Nice location, most everything we needed

This was a nice little house situation atop a hill overlooking a beautiful lake. There is a nice park as well as many trails nearby. The yard is not fully enclosed but felt private and had enough room for our dogs to stretch their legs. My only gripe was that the pot coffee maker made weak coffee and the single serve wouldn’t work so I ended up purchasing a moka pot to ensure I could make a decent cup in the mornings. The house was clean, nicely decorated, and had mostly everything we needed. We especially loved the antique stores in downtown Ishpeming and all the awesome trails for hiking and biking nearby. We would definitely stay again!
