Stayed here for a girls weekend with one traveler from AZ and two from the Twin Cities. The location was superb, just over an hour drive but felt like you were "up noth". The lake was beautiful. The decks were lovely for watching the boaters and fish jump in the lake! Everyone slept comfortably and the kitchen was great to prepare meals in. We had a fab weekend here!

The house was very clean and comfortable. The view of the lake was beautiful. The hosts responded to just about everything. The only problem we had was the code did not work one time but didn't have an issue after that was solved.

The location was peaceful and quiet, perfect for a weekend getaway. There were activities nearby that could suit different age groups, so it felt family-friendly as well. The host was responsive and easy to communicate with, which made the stay even smoother.

Pleasant weekend getaway!

We enjoyed fishing, golfing, a local diner, and taking walks around the lake property, as well as the magnificent views from the cabin. We found the cabin to be very comfortable with all its amenities. … very nice hosts.

Enjoyable cabin

The cabin was clean and comfortable. The manager was easy to talk to and quick to fix anything that's not working right. It had multiple places to enjoy the view and multiple places to sit and enjoy eating outside. We look forward to staying here again.

This deck keeps us coming back

We love the additional deck closer to the lake. Beautiful view, many lawn chairs and combination sun and shade. The owners care about their property and it shows.

Nice and relaxing!

The cabin was just like the description and the outside deck was so nice with a great view and the perfect place to relax. Plenty of area for kids to play especially down in the beach space.

It was a great little cabin!! Bummer we booked with the Algae bloom so we couldn’t swim or use the beach. But the sun deck was perfect for sunbathing everything you need was there. We would definitely come back just maybe earlier in the year so we could use the beach and water!!

Great little cabin on the lake

A few friends and I met each other for a weekend stay. Other than the weather not cooperating, the little weekend trip was perfect.

Hidden Gem - 1hr from the twin cities

Had a fabulous time at this property. The pictures online made the cabin look more rustic than it actually was. It was extremely well taken care of and comfortably fit the 3 adults and 2 small children we had on the trip. The outdoor seating areas were exceptional, fishing was better than expected and the owners were very attentive. I would highly recommend this property, especially with it having such a convenient location for people living in the twin cities.

Hello! We are Neil and Amy Jennissen. We bought this property with Neil's cousin and his wife back in 1996. We have loved spending week ends here with family and friends over the years. We love this place so much, we built our empty nester home right behind it! Yes, that big garage is where we live. No worries, you will not be sharing things with us. Your group will have the three bedroom cabin, two decks, dock, and yard all to yourself. The beach and swing set are shared with the neighbors.

This is the place to come if you need a get away with out the long drive. We are just off Interstate 35 near Pine City. Lake Pokegama is connected with the Snake River and Cross Lake in Pine City. This gives you acres and acres of water to play on and explore!

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

Once you unload and get settled, you can spend the rest of your getaway on or near the water. Take your boat a or a rented boat to one of the two restaurants on the lake. You can take a boat into Pine City and explore all that our town has to offer. Kayak from our place to the Snake River and paddle the day away.
