You're just steps from our sugary sand beaches, restaurants and local attractions such as The Gulf State Park Fishing Pier & The Hang Out! And, just a short drive from the Gulf State dog park, nature trails, bike paths. Some of the many other activities include: charter fishing boats, boat & jet ski rentals, Para-sailing, dolphin cruises, sunset sailboat cruises, beautiful back bays for boating, tubing, skiing and fishing, amusement parks, golf, outlet malls, live concerts at The Wharf Amphitheater, and of course, plenty of sugary sand beaches.

We had a great time staying here! The place was perfectly as described and in the perfect location. Short walk to the beach and easy to get in and out of.

Cottage was clean, kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, beds & linens were comfortable. Communication with rental company was very good. Location is across a busy street from the beach, but it’s easy access. WiFi was fine. Liked that property is pet friendly. Our family of 5 had plenty of room but large groups might feel a bit cramped. We didn’t use the property’s pool - no shade & the water was nearly hot! We also didn’t use the grill since no propane was provided.

Great place for a family getaway. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms clean beautiful decor would definitely stay there again.

It’s clean and well organized room. Nice location. We are 3 families get together and it was so much fun. Kids loved it. Only complaint is about stainless steel pots was not available. I wish, I knew it. I would bring it from home.

Lovely abode

We loved our time in this house. The interior was spacious and new and so lovely. We were able to walk to the beach after we crossed the street. It was about a 4 minute walk. We were close to all the entertainment and my son loved the pool. We will be trying one of the other properties soon.

Very clean and immaculate.

I had a couple of minor maintenance issues that I felt should have been taken care of the same day.

Brenda, thank you for the review. During your stay, you reported 2 issues which our maintenance techs came to fix on the same day. The reports state they added a universal remote and ensured all TVs were working although you were not in the condo. The next day, when you called, our maintenance tech came immediately and changed the smoke alarm batteries. Beach Getaway's maintenance techs are always consistent and prompt, though we apologize for any miscommunication! We hope after learning this information you'll give us another opportunity to host your family! Thank you again for the review!

Location is great

The location and physical property was great. Unfortunately, we were provided with the incorrect door code which made checkin not a positive experience. I called the provided number and spoke with 2 different women…both were convinced we were entering the code incorrectly…when they realized the provided code was incorrect they suddenly became more helpful. Had issues with the upstairs thermostat…it was HOT! A maintenance person was sent out…he was very helpful. Do no think we would book here again,

We completely understand how frustrating it must have been to arrive after a long trip, ready to drop your bags, relax, and hit the beach, only to run into an issue with the door code. We're really sorry for that delay—it’s certainly not the start to a beach getaway we expect for our guests. We hope your husband had a wonderful time at the reunion despite these hiccups. And while the check-in wasn’t as smooth as it should have been, we hope the beautiful views, warm sun, and sandy beaches helped make up for it. It looks like our maintenance team was able to get the upstairs A/C issue sorted during your stay. We all know how important those nice, cool temps are after a day out in the summer heat! This condo consistently gets great feedback, and for good reason—between the upgraded furnishings, quiet community, and unbeatable proximity to Gulf State Park, it really is a special place. We'd love the chance to welcome you back in the future, with a working code and icy cool A/C waiting for you. And hopefully, you’ll be able to join your husband next time and enjoy everything this spot has to offer!
