Hi Samantha, My listing is not misleading...it clearly states that prior to booking, you must get approval from me if you plan to bring your dog because our HOA has breed restrictions. It also states that the HOA does have a pet fee. However, you failed to include on your booking that you were even bringing your dog and you did not let me know this until the day of your arrival. If you would have included on your reservation that you were bringing your dog and gotten approval from me, I would have let you know the pet fee at that time. The HOA pet fee is based on how many pets you bring and on how many nights you stay, which is why my listing says to get my approval before booking. I sent you the HOA registration link for your parking pass 5 days before your arrival. On that link it includes the HOA pet fees, so at that time you could see how much the pet fee is and made a decision at that time whether you were bringing your dog or not. Your failure to not inform me that you were bringing your dog is not my fault and does not make my listing "misleading". You chose not to include your pet on your reservation and you did not tell me until the day of your arrival that you were bringing your dog...THAT is misleading. As a dog owner, I always inquire about pet fees prior to booking, I suggest you do the same going forward instead of giving a poor reviews for something that is out of the host's control. About the pool...I got the message from our HOA about the pool maintenance right before I let you know it was going to be closed. If I would have known any sooner, I would have let you know at that time.
