Just down the back sidewalk and watch Wildlife, Sunrises, Sunsets, Star gazing, Fireworks and Space Launches! Do you enjoy Reading, Yoga, Sunbathing, Grilling, Picnics or Fishing? A true Florida vacation without leaving your back yard! Or from this dead center location in Florida take a day trip to Daytona Beach, Orlando for Attractions and Sports, Tampa Bay/St Petersburg area for Ybor City and Museums or Cape Canaveral and the National Seashore. Within 2-3 miles enjoy numerous shopping, restaurant and entertainment opportunities. Within 5 miles view Seaplanes take off, Renniger's Flea Market, Kids Parks ("Splashing" included), nature walks, lake front picnics and train rides. In 30 minutes or less enjoy fishing, golfing, swimming, trail hiking. We are welcome dogs less than 25 lbs with Dog fee & deposit . Call Owner for approval. Great place to stay!!

Host's were great, accommodations were great, very quiet & very clean, room for boat parking, nice view when grilling out on the dock. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again.

Home away from home

Best place, it was like we were staying with family. I’ve been to all 50 states and never have found better. Located so your close to whatever you wish.

Loved it!

We loved staying here! The owners live on the property, but they were super nice and helpful. The yard, dock area and lake were perfect for my 5-year-old daughter to play. We would definitely stay here again!!

Great get-away

A really relaxing place to stay and experience. Highly recommend. The owners are very accommodating and willing to make your stay perfect. We had a very nice time. The morning sunrise and evening sunsets on the dock was wonderful.

Perfect getaway!

This is now our favorite spot in Florida. The lakeside relaxation and the wonderful, attentive owners made this an exceptional experience! This is a beautiful, well maintained property, outfitted with kayaks, summer kitchen and dock areas for enjoying time with family!

Great place. Don went over and above to make sure we had everything we needed from basic necessities to preparing the boat with everything I needed to catch a few fish. Will definitely stay there again if we come back in town.

What a view.

My friend and I stayed at Colleen and Don's cozy, comfortable lakefront home. They were gracious hosts and made us feel very welcomed. We enjoyed the large dock area, grill, and views of the lake and their beautiful yard. Hope to visit again in the Spring.

Cute house and amazing location

It was just me and my friend staying in this house in Mount Dora. This house was perfect location to the downtown area and all the little boutiques, shops and restaurants. Easy drive to other surrounding areas as well. The house was very clean and we had excellent communication with the owners! I would highly recommend this house!

Great rental and hosts!

Upon arrival we were met by the owner Don who gave us a tour of the unit and the property. Cozy interior with comfortable beds. The dock and seating/grilling area on the lake were great for watching the sunset and wildlife. Location was perfect. Just 3 miles to Mount Dora. Will definitely stay here on our next visit. Thanks Don & Colleen!!
